Chapter 66

We stop off at another store and pick out our favourite snacks then head back home.
"I thought you two went out to get plants?" Steve asks as we walk back in with bags full of snacks but no plants.
"Shit! Nat, we forgot the plants in the car!" I yell, waddling with one shoe on down to the car.

Natasha POV:
I can't lie, that is one of the cutest things Y/N has ever done. I can't help but smile to myself as she waddles away.
"Did she just-" Clint asks.
"Yup." I say.
"Anyway.. I'm glad to hear you two are staying in the compound." He says.
"Me too, but I swear to god if you come into our place, you will be eating out of a straw." I say.
"Violent much." He says.
"I got them! They're okay Tasha!" She says as she enters the living room again, still with one shoe on. I chuckle and look down.
"это было восхитительно. (Eto bylo voskhititel'no -That was adorable)" I say, kissing her forehead and grabbing the bags and beginning to walk out. Y/N walks out before me, staring down at the large plant and smiling at it. "If any of you disturb us, you will meet your end." I say with a fake smile.
"Are you gonna...?" Clint asks.
"No, we're watching movies. That was earlier." I say with a cocky smirk.
"Gross." He says, throwing a pillow at me.
"As if you and Laura haven't done anything!" I mock, throwing the pillow back at him and leaving with the snacks.

I get up to our bedroom and Y/N is already searching for places to put the plants. I place the snacks down on our bed then make my way behind her as she looks down at the large plant in the corner of the room. I snake my arms around her and rest my head on her shoulder.
"It looks good there." I tell her.
"Just good?" She asks.
"Don't overthink it, love." I say as I return to our bed to sort out the snacks. Y/N gives one more glance towards the plant before shrugging and sitting next to me on the bed.
"Can we watch escape room first?" She asks as she leans back onto the pillows.
"Of course baby." I say, sorting the snacks and drinks into two piles. "What snacks do you want first?" I ask.
"M&Ms!" She says excitedly. I chuckle then grab the M&Ms and our blanket, wrapping it around us then hand her the M&Ms. "Thank you." She says, kissing my cheek.

Y/N POV:
I think I ate way too many M&Ms. I sigh as I rest my head into Nat closer than before.
"You okay?" She asks.
"Mhm." I mumble.
"You ate too many M&Ms, huh?" She asks.
"Yeah." I say quietly.
"Tony sent me an email whilst we were out, the others are all down for us to have a floor. We can all stay for most of the construction but we need to be out next week. I was thinking we could stay in a hotel and have a mini vacation for a week." Nat says.
"That sounds amazing!!!" I exclaim, jumping on her in excitement and hugging her, though regretting it immediately because of the M&Ms.
"I'm glad you think so, I'm gonna book a hotel now then." She says, kissing my forehead. I  remain resting on top of Nat but grab my phone. Kylie messaged me a lot, great.

Me:
Sorry, I've been bombarded with work. That's awesome, what day is the game?

Almost immediately Kylie messages back.

Kylie:
Next Thursday.

Y/N:
I can do that, send me the time and location and I'll see you there.

Kylie:
Awesome! I'll tell the girls.

I sigh as I place my phone down.
"What is it?" Nat asks.
"Kylie." I say.
"Of course." She says with a groan.
"She's not that bad." I retort.
"You just sighed at her message." She says with a raised eyebrow. I turn my phone onto silent and place it to the side.
"I'm gonna play in a game with the NYU team on thursday." I say. "Carol too, I think." I add.
"Where is it?" She asks.
"I don't know.. Do you want to come and watch?" I ask.
"Of course." She says, placing down her phone.
"The hotel is booked, sunday through to the next sunday." Nat informs me.
"I love you!" I say excited kissing her.
"I love you more." She says with a happy smile.
"Not possible." I say.

I did dodgeball in Pe (Gym) today and I hate everything. They were using volleyballs and the dudes were throwing the balls so hard at us and calling my mate a transphobic slur and targeting him even when he was off :/
