Chapter 56

Wanda POV:
Carol and I decide we need to tell Nat. Y/N's been gone for 6 days, Tony said she'd be back tomorrow.
"Okay, you say it." Carol says as we prepare to leave our room.
"No! You say it." I retort.
"No, you." she says.
"Fine. But you owe me." I say.
"Fine." she says as we leave the room.

We find Nat talking to Bruce. He gets close to her and she tries to get him to back off. They don't notice we're there. Carol and I share a look before Bruce takes Nat's face and kisses her.

Natasha POV:
Bruce leans in and kisses me. I can't do this. I still love her no matter how hard I want to hate her for what she did. Some way or another we'll sort this... us... out. I hope...

Wanda POV:
She tries to push him off but it doesn't work, he's too strong, I'm surprised he hasn't hulked out yet.
"Back of Banner." Carol says, pushing him off of Nat. He strikes her in the face. "What the hell?!" she exclaims. Bruce pushes them away and storms out of the room. I grab his arm, that was probably a mistake.
"You shouldn't have done that, you shouldn't have done any of this Bruce." I scoff.
"Get off me you worthless witch." he shouts. I do as he says, I'll sort him out later.
"Thank you.." Nat says quietly, wiping her lips.
"Banner blackmailed Y/N into breaking up with you." Carol says quickly.
"I thought I was saying it?" I ask.
"Well I decided I wanted to." she says.
"Wait what?" Nat asks.
"She told us the night you two broke up. She didn't want to Nat, she loves you a lot." I tell her.
"Ugh. I hate him." she says, throwing a glass of water across the room.
"Woah! Calm down Nat." Carol says.
"How can I? I've lost a week with Y/N because of something stupid that I should have seen." she says, getting heated.
"She'll be back tomorrow." I say.
"Why the hell didn't you guys tell me sooner?" she asks.
"We didn't know how to." Carol explains.
"Ugh." she groans, leaving the room.
"That could have gone worse." Carol says.
"Nat probably hates us now." I state.
"She's just pissed that she believed Banner." She says.

Natasha POV:
I can't believe this. I can't believe that I thought she hated me, that I did something wrong. I don't know if I should be mad or relieved. I love Y/N and I can finally get her back, I just have to wait until tomorrow. I think I would be mad at Carol and Wanda for not telling me sooner if she doesn't take me back. I didn't do anything wrong though... so the only reason would be Bruce. Bruce. I have to find him. Beat the crap out of him for what he did.

Y/N POV:
I don't think I'm ready to return. One week wasn't long enough to be honest. I load my stuff onto the quinjet and fly off. My music is blaring as I fly the long way back. I'm heading back a day early because I can't stand the heat.
"Welcome back!" Tony says to me as I get off the quinjet.
"Thanks..." I reply.
"You alright?" he asks.
"A week wasn't long enough." I admit. I hear the clacking of chunky heels rushing over to me. I turn around to look at who it is. Natasha. She pulls me into a tight hug which confuses me. She hates me?
"I'll leave you two to it." Tony says before walking off.
"We're not together Natasha. What are you doing?" I ask as I pull away from her. I need to keep up the act.
"Wanda and Carol told me that Bruce forced you to break up with me." she replies, looking into my eyes. I don't know if it's a good thing that they told Nat, but I'm happy. Without hesitation I pull her in for a kiss then rest my head into her chest and cry. I hear her sniff, trying to contain her tears. "I've got you детка." She whispers comfortingly into me as she hugs me tightly.
"I love you so much, I'm really sorry Tasha." I say after a minute as I continue to cry into her.
"I love you more." She says.
"Not possible." I say.

We stay in this position for a while just enjoying each other's company.
"We need to do something about Bruce." Nat says, pulling herself away from me slightly so she can look into my eyes.
"I-" I start.
"-don't want to make a scene. I know but he went too far this time. If Wanda and Carol didn't tell me then we wouldn't be together right now. He kissed me then slapped-" She says before I interrupt her.
"He kissed you again?" I exclaim, pulling away from her a little.
"Earlier this morning, he kissed me then slapped Carol and then Wanda and Carol told me what happened... That day, your face was red. He- he slapped you, didn't he?" She asks as she finally puts the pieces together. I nod slightly. "That's it." She says, pulling away from me and walking off.
"Tasha wait!" I chase after her. "It's not worth it-" I say.
"It is worth it Y/N/N." she says as she looks around the compound for Bruce with me trailing behind.

She eventually finds him in the living room with Steve, Clint, Wanda, Carol, Tony, and Thor.
"You have some nerve, Banner." Nat says.
"Lady Y/N, welcome back." Thor says to me. I flash him a fake smile, concerned of what Nat is gonna do to Bruce.
"What's going on?" Steve asks.
"I have no idea." Bruce lies.
"Of course you do. You're crazy." She says, going over to him and pulling him off the couch.
"What?" he exclaims as he releases himself from her grip.
"You. Are. Crazy." she repeats as if he's stupid. She connects her first to his face.
"Woah! Nat calm down. What is she on about?" Tony asks Bruce.
"I have no idea-" he defends.
"Bruce is jealous of Y/N and has been trying to break her and Nat up since we got here." Wanda explains.
"Is this true?" Tony asks as he turns back to Bruce.
"No-" he says.
"Yes." Carol says
"Yes." Wanda says
"Yeah." Nat says. He turns to me and I nod. "He also hit Y/N and Carol." Nat adds. Everyone in the room turns to face Bruce.
"You're out." Tony says, looking at Bruce.
"What?" Bruce asks.
"You heard me. It's up to Steve if you're off the team but you're not staying in the compound anymore." Tony says. Bruce storms out and I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding.
"So are you and Lady Y/N back together?" Thor asks Nat. She looks at me, I smile, she returns it.
"Yeah, we are." she says.
"I might have to invest in those soundproof walls after all." Tony mutters.
"I heard that!" I joke, throwing a pillow at him.
"Are you okay?" he asks.
"I guess so... I don't know how I'm supposed to be. I'm just glad he's not living here anymore, thank you." I say, giving him a grateful smile.
"Of course kid. We're supposed to be doing a mission later today, you two can stay here." he says."Thank you Tony!" I say, hugging him. He hugs me back.
