Chapter 70

After eating, Nat has to help Clint with something so I find Wanda and Carol so we can play on the xbox again.
"Haha! Take that Y/N!" Carol shouts as she beats me in a race.
"Oh come on! That's not fair. You crashed into me like 100 times." I respond.
"Personally, I think I won." Wanda says.
"You went the wrong direction, Wands." I tell her to which she responds by putting her middle finger up at me.

Two days later Tony calls the team to the main room.
"What is it Tony? I have paperwork that I need to get to." Steve asks.
"Stop being so grumpy. I wanted to announce that the new floor is officially opened. Well, for Nat and Y/N anyway." Tony announces. I turn to Nat with a beaming smile.
"That's good... did you... y'know, make it sound proof? We all know what the two of them are gonna be getting up to." Carol asks.
"It is in fact soundproof." Tony replies. With that everyone cheers though my face just turns red and Nat laughs. "Here are the keys and combination for the elevator floor so nobody can walk into whatever, or should I say whoever, you're doing and burn their eyes." he says, handing over a key to each of us and a piece of folded paper.
"Thank you so much Tony." I say hugging him. He hugs me back then lets me and Nat get to our new place.
"It's so cool!" I say, looking around in awe.
"Babe, it's empty." Nat deadpans, her voice echoing throughout.
"Way to burst my bubble." I state.

We go out to the store to get stuff for our place. I'm super excited. This is one of the things that I've been looking forward to. The furniture for our bedroom will be moved from our current bedroom, though we buy a few more things. I get lots of picture frames, I love them, and we get mini cacti even though we already bought a bunch of plants a week back, you can never have too many plants. We get carpets and furniture and appliances, I convince Nat to get a blender because I've always wanted one. We get everything we need for a kitchen, knives, pans, utensils and more. We get a couch and an armchair, a coffee table, a big TV and everything else we need. The whole day was amazing.

We get back and everyone helps take our stuff up to our floor, though it takes a while because of how much stuff we bought. We clear out our old bedroom and set up our new one.

"I'm so excited." I beam as Nat holds onto me from behind, the both of us looking over our new place.
"Me too. I'm glad I'm here with you. We've come so far since last year... been through so much stuff." she replies. Now that I think about it, we have been through a lot. Bruce, Kylie, Hydra, the whole avengers secret. I turn around in her grasp and rest my head in her chest.
"What's gonna happen to Kylie?" I ask. I've been kept in the dark about her.
"Steve managed to find out that she's related to Rumlow. Cousins." she says into my ear, playing with my hair.
"Of course she is." I grumble with a large sigh.
"Now's not the time to think about that. We have this place to set up." she says, holding my chin up so she can look into my eyes, a smile resting on her lips.

We set up the kitchen and living room whilst dancing and singing along to old 1 direction songs, Nat won't admit it but she loves some of their songs.
"You wanna watch a movie?" Nat asks, slumping down on the couch after she finished placing down the pillows in a way she thought was right.
"Hell yeah." I say, laying beside her. "What movie?" I ask her.
"I have no idea, we need to set the TV up first though." she replies, sitting up and turning on the TV.
"Damn it." I groan, laying my head onto her lap. She mindlessly drifts her fingers through my hair as she sets the TV up then puts a movie on, not without a bit of frustration.

We get settled in throughout the next few days, the place is looking great, it's everything I imagined and more.
"I'm gonna be gone for a few days." Nat says as she dishes up our breakfast.
"What? Why?" I ask.
"Nick needs me to help out at one of the bases. It'll be 3 days maximum." she says as she hands me my plate. I sit at the bar stools and start to eat.
"It's gonna feel empty." I mumble.
"I'm sorry." she replies sincerely.

Nat leaves for Ohio, which is where Nick needs the help, and I decide to go down to the floor with everyone else on. Without Nat the place seems big and empty.
"Back so soon?" Carol asks.
"Nat's gone and I'm bored." I reply, sitting on the couch next to her. I notice Clint try to stifle a laugh, though he's unsuccessful. "What's so funny?" I ask him.
"Nothing." he chuckles, getting up and leaving. I roll my eyes at his weirdness.
"I'm gonna go train, you two coming?" Carol asks Wanda and I.
"I guess." I mumble.
"Sure. Carol, can you help me with something in the kitchen first?" Wanda asks.
"You need my help?" I ask.
"Nope! Just Carol's! We'll meet you down in the gym!" Wanda replies quickly. Weird. Whatever. I head to the gym and wait for Wanda and Carol.

Wanda POV:
"How the hell are we supposed to keep the secret if we're with her?" I ask, panicked about the whole situation.
"It'll be fine, Wands. It's only 3 days. Once Nat's back all we have to do is keep it secret for one or two more days which won't be hard because they'll be doing you know what in their apartment." Carol reassures me. I guess she has a point but I'm not the best at keeping secrets.
"Okay... we shouldn't make her wait. Come on." I say, dragging her through to the gym.

A/N: I kinda hate this chapter, I feel like the book is bland and it's becoming pretty boring and shit but I'm gonna go through the old chapters and edit them because they're super wordy and I'm not too proud of them tbh.
