Adrian arrive at the William's residence too early. Before he could press the doorbell Christopher's beaming face welcomed him.

Ade you're finally here, he tug his arm inside excitedly.

Watch your manner Christopher, chide Monica. She just shake her head at her son's behavior .

Hi aunt Moni, how are you!

I'm fine Adrian, thank you for asking.

How's your parents?

They're planning a trip on their wedding anniversary to Europe nextweek.

Oh thank you for reminding me, I need to get them a present.

And you? how about school? Mary told me you're such a big help in her adjustment at school  and I thank you for that, I don't have to worry anymore.

Don't worry aunt, as long as Mary needs my help, I am willing to lend my hand.

Oh there she is, Lizzie Adrian is here.

He's not here for you, Ade promised to hangout with me and were going to my room now.

Don't be rude to your sister  Christopher!

I'm just kidding mom, why they were always  together at school. It's a big news at the whole campus that Ade got a new girl.

Monica quirk her brow at what her son shared.

Mary blushed profusely, she was looking at her brother, aghast at his sudden taclessness.

"Im sorry Adrian for Christopher's blunder, she was embarassed having caught off guard in the situation how to refute her brother's insinuation.

Monica smiled at her daughter's reaction, she is not averse in the idea that both of them might enter in a relationship.

It's okay M, don't mind this little guy here, he just want my attention, right buddy? Adrian wink at Chris.

Christopher answered him by rolling his eyes. Can we go now? he is tapping his foot impatiently.

" I'll talk to you later, someone is being impatient already. He ruffled Christopher's hair making  him grunt in annoyance.

Mary  laugh at her brother's disgruntled appearance. She is poking fun at him by sticking her tongue out and smile at Adrian  grateful for his understanding.

Go on boys, I will ask Lizzie to bring your snacks later.

" Hey M, why don't you join us in the game, Adrian suggested.

"Nah, I'm fine, someone might find my presence annoying, gauging her brother's reaction mirth lurking in her eyes.

Christopher is crossing his arm daring his sister to tease him.

Fine enjoy you two , I'll just head back to my room and do some reading.

You shouldn't be hard to your sister you know.

That was just our way of making fun with each other. Why are you not on my side anyway, I'm just helping you to get a reaction from her. You should be thankful that I like  you for her,  I'm not even accepting any bribe.

Adrian laugh aloud at Chris  audacity to suggest such thing, but he was happy  of his innocent remark  knowing that his intention towards Mary is well recieved by her family.

Andrian and Christopher were so engrossed in their game that they haven't notice Mary's presence. She cleared her throat and laid the tray full of snacks in the center table.
