I quickly got out of bed and slipped on some clothes. I turned on the bed side lamp and saw that it was the clothes that I wore when I first arrived here. A pair of white shorts that were only a bit longer than booty shorts. I was wearing a top that hung off one shoulder and the sleeves were elbow length. Where it ended on my arm was tight to it didn't dangle all around. It was also tight around my waist.

Noiselessly I walked up to my door and pressed my ear against it. It was about midnight, but I wasn't going to take any chances. The slight sound of the television reached my ears, telling me that someone was up, or that they had fallen asleep on the couch.

I walked out of my room as quietly as I could. The televisions volume was low, but not low enough where you couldn't hear the sounds coming from it. As quietly as I could I walked into the kitchen, pretending to be getting a glass of water. Once in the kitchen I looked over and saw that it was Dad who was on the couch. The only good thing is that his eyes are closed.

While smiling to myself I walked out of the kitchen and over by the door. I went to turn the doorknob and saw that it was locked. Quickly I went back to the kitchen to grab a pair of keys, then I unlocked the door and went out of the hotel room. I turned around and locked it again, not wanting my parents or Aiden to notice.

Silently I walked over to the elevator, and once the doors were closing shut I breathed a sigh of relief. I tried to clear my head preparing myself for what I was about to do. Then it dawned on me what I was going to actually do. I was going to tell Lucas the secret that I've never told anyone. The same secret that makes me break down in front of him. The same secret that haunts my nightmares. The same secret that lurks around the corners, waiting for me.

The elevator doors opened, bringing me out of my thoughts. Taking a deep breath I walked out of the elevator and continued walking to Lucas's hotel room. I was halfway there when suddenly I wanted to turn back, but my legs wouldn't let me, they just continued walking.

I reached Lucas's door and took another deep breath. Closing my eyes I knocked as loud as I dared myself to go. The noise seemed deafening out here in the silent hallway. A minute later the doorknob turned and I caught my breath, hoping that it wasn't Lucas's mom.

The door opened revealing Lucas. He was wearing a pair of gray sweats and a plain white shirt. His hair was messy, but still cute.

Wait, did I say cute?!

"Emi?" He asked. I tore my eyes. away from the floor that I had suddenly become interested in. Taking my third deep breath I met his gaze.

"I need to talk to you Lucas." My voice didn't shake, but it was quieter than usual.

"Alright, j-just give me a second." I knew that he was probably confused, and probably wanted to change.

A couple minutes later he opened the door again. This time he was wearing a pair of jeans, the same white shirt, and a black leather jacket. He smiled at me, and that's when I noticed that he hadn't even thought of his hair. This caused me to smile back at him, but then it faded when I remembered what I was about to do.

"Do you wanna go for a walk?" I asked him nervously. He gave me a questioningly gaze, but I shrugged it off and appeared not to have noticed it.

"Sure." He replied.

We walked over to the elevator. The way down was even more agonizing than it was on the way up here. I wanted to say something, but I didn't know what. It just seemed so different to not be talking to him when he was around. The elevator doors slid open to the hotel lobby and we walked out. By keeping our heads down we made it out of the hotel.
