Emilia POV

I was eating an apple while trying to calm myself to make sure that I didn't barge right into Lucas's room and wring his little neck. Do you honestly think that I want to be followed everywhere I go? Hell no. I took another vicious bite into my innocent apple. Look what he's doing to me! He's making me take out my anger on an innocent apple! He is so going to get it.

I finished the apple then tossed it into the trash. I walked over to the television and turned it on. I flipped through channels till I saw myself on the screen. I gripped the remote so hard that I swore that you could see the blood veins from how white my knuckles were. I turned off the television and stood up. I threw the remote at the couch and put on my shoes.

I opened the door and walked out to the elevator. I tapped my foot impatiently while it went up to the last floor. When the doors opened I walked out towards Lucas's room. I was just about to knock when Lucas suddenly appeared. He seemed confused at first, but then I crossed my arms and he seemed to remember.

"You've got a plan?" I asked him.

"Yeah, but I don't think you're gonna like it." He replied.

"Then start talking. You never know till you try." He stepped to the side and let me in. I sat down on the couch and he sat down beside me. Then he started telling me the plan. I made sure to have no emotion on my face what-so-ever. I nodded a couple of times, but other than that, I did nothing.

"So, you alright with that plan?" Lucas asked.

"If it works, then I'll do it." I replied.

"Alright. Once Carson wakes up I'll have him go find a wig. What color?"

"Blonde, it'll change my looks a lot."

"Let's hope." We became completely silent for about 5 minutes. I looked down at the ground but I looked up when I felt Lucas staring at me.

"Something wrong?" I asked him.

"No, nothing's wrong." I stared at him, trying to get him to tell me. He didn't look back at me once though. I looked back at the ground.

We were quiet for another 5 minutes.

"Emilia?" Lucas asked, breaking the silence.

"Yeah?" I replied, looking up from the carpet.

"Why do I get the feeling that you're hiding something?" I stiffened up at his question. I decided that the best thing to do was to not reply. "Emilia?" Damn it! He wasn't going to let it go.

"I'm going to tell you this once and only once." I replied. I took a breath before speaking. "My life is complicated. The deeper you go into it, the more complicated it gets. So stay out." My tone was harsh, but I didn't care.

"Sorry I asked." Lucas murmured. I felt horrible, but why did I? It's my life and he shouldn't try digging up everything about me. He will only get lost.

We waited for about 30 minutes for Carson, but he still hadn't come. I got up and headed to the door.

"Where're you going?" Lucas asked behind me.

"To my suite." My tone was a 'duh' tone.

"I'll walk you there."

"Lucas, I don't think we should be seen together. After all, we are trying to get people to believe that I'm not part of your life or your girlfriend. That wont help at all."

"You're right. Then, why don't you stay here. I'll just wake up Carson."

"Whatever floats your boat." I replied while walking back over to the couch.
