Running through the dense forest was nothing short of normal for the Uchiha but he was not unaware of the effects he was having on his surroundings. Tree were nearly blown from their roots as he sped past them. He could sense the Nine Tails chakra and had no doubt the huge beast was doing it on purpose so he would be able to find him. It would save him some time in which he was grateful. These days weren't so lucky for him.

He leaped onto a tree and began to ascend it when he sensed the chakra moving into the... air? It was weird and he didn't know what was going on. The Fox hadn't explained much, or really at all. He could tell the Fox would not be big on cooperating.

Great. Just great.

He leaped onto the tallest part of the tree and looked up to notice Naruto being flown up by a pale man in white robes, though he couldn't see the man's face he definitely sensed his power. And boy was he surprised, so surprise that he froze. His power was similar to Kaguya's, so similar that he began to get flashbacks of the Rabbit Goddess and a trickle of sweat befell his brow. This was it, he decided. This would test if he was ready to take on Kaguya or not.

He clenched his fist, the feeling in his body coming back to him. He could move again but his target was moving away quickly. He couldn't fly so he was sure he would not be able to catch up even if he could jump as high as the Otsutsuki could. Luckily, he had a jutsu that could fix that problem.

'Uchiha Flame Formation!'

Fingertips set ablaze by chakra, Obito slammed his hand to the ground. A barrier erected high into the sky, covering the entire forest with a blazing red.

"Now there's no escape."

"What's this?" Urashiki paused midair, looking at the barrier in confusion. It faded quickly and he grinned in superiority. "A barrier, huh? Do you think this can hold me back!" His hook lashed out and smashed into the barrier but it only took a second before it was set ablaze and he had to let go in case he burned himself. "What?"

He didn't notice Obito was ascending the sky until it was too late. However attacking the Otsutsuki was not Obito's goal right now. He activated his Mangekyō Sharingan quickly and used his long-ranged Kamui to get Naruto out of harm way before kicking Urashiki out of the way.

He began falling to the ground but was able to recover in the air and gritted his teeth in absolute fury. 'How was he able to take that Nine Tails brat? It had to be a space-time Ninjutsu!'

When Obito felt gravity begin to take over he activated Kamui in his right eye and disappeared out of sight, only confirming Urashiki's observation. "You're not getting away!" Urashiki yelled out racing down to the ground once he figured out that Obito could not fly but Obito was not on Earth anymore.

Inside his pocket dimension, he felt Naruto's steady heartbeat and sighed in relief. The blonde was alive and well and in better health than he previously thought. It seemed he hadn't even been with the Otsutsuki that long.

Obito stood and readied himself for battle. "Stay well, Naruto." A spiraling void appeared around his right eye and sucked him in.

Back in the real world, Urashiki thought he was sensing Obito but it was made apparent that it was a mistake when he came upon Rin who was panting slightly from trying to catch her teammate.

"What's this?" The god-like being said slyly. "A woman."

"What... are you?" Rin questioned, almost at a lost for words.

"Where is that red-eyed bastard. He took something I would like back."

"I'm right here." Obito said suddenly, appearing in a spiral in the middle of the air before rushing down and slamming the Otsutsuki in the ground with a powerful kick. Rin only gaped in surprise.
