Chapter 29

It has been 16 years since Davina and Kol's daughter was born. They named her Katie. Maya and Elijah also have a 15 year old daughter, named May. Rosalie and Emmett have a 15 year old son, named Ron. Roxanne and Erik are 21.

Ray and Edward are working hard to make sure their kids are safe. Ray is teaching them to control their magic. Edward is teaching them blood lust control. Ray and Edward share an unconditional love. A love that lasts forever. No one can break it.

Maya and Elijah came to Ray and Edward's house.

"Ray, there is a school. A school for supernaturals. My best friend is the headmistress there. Roxy and Eri can work there if they want to." Maya said to Ray.

"A school for supernaturals?" Ray asked.

"Ah yeah. Umm. It's a good school. We are planning on enrolling Hope there. May and Katie are going to join them next year."

"What is the school's name?"

"Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted in Mystic Falls. It's very safe. My best friend said that it is the home for all supernaturals. They have the best teachers and staff there. Her kids work there as student teacher." Maya explained.

"It's a great school." Elijah added.

"Yes! We will go!" Roxanne said in excitement.

"No. You are staying with me." Ace said.

"No way! I am going! I want to work! And we have learned from Mom about controlling magic, and Dad taught us blood lust control. So, we are going!" Roxanne exclaimed.

"But, what about me?" Ace asked. Roxanne kissed his cheek.

"You can come if you want." She said.

"How about you all think about it? We have to enroll Hope there tomorrow. Bye, guys." Maya said before leaving with her husband.

"So, what about you Eri?" Ray asked.

"I will go there. I don't have a girlfriend or boyfriend to worry about. I also want to work. I want to make friends too. So, I will go." Erik explained with a shrug.

"Well, we are moving to Mystic Falls if you two are going there." Edward said. They are nodded in agreement.

"Roxy and Ace, make your decision. You guys can go out and talk." Ray said. Ace and Roxanne leave the house.

"Ace, I really want to go."

"I know. I understand. I just don't think that I can be away from you. I have a company to run. I am a CEO. I am responsible for it. I don't have anyone, I can trust my company with. I have been running my company for a long time. It's like my child. All my efforts. You. Are my love. My life. I can't be apart from you or my company." Ace said looking into Roxanne's eyes. Ace teared up and Roxanne took in a deep breath.

"I get it. You can stay here. I don't mind. But I have to go. I want to experience life. I want to know what it is to work, to have friends, to work with someone. We can make this work. We can do long distance. If we feel like it doesn't work, I will come back." Roxanne said taking a hold of Ace's hands in hers.

"Roxy... I can't... I won't be able to handle it... I am scared that I will lose you..."

"Ace..." She hugged Ace. "We got this. We have loved each other for a long time. Think of it as a test. We are testing our relationship."

"Roxy, why would you think of it like that?" Ace said with a hurt tone as he pulled away to look at her. "Do you doubt our love? Are you serious?"

"No no, Ace. I don't doubt it. I know we love each other a lot. I just want to work there, Ace."
