It didn’t take long for Friday to come and after school I dropped Sarah off with Sam, Dean, and Cas. Dean and Gabriel had both gotten a ten day suspension for the fight. They had to stay in their dorms during the day while school was going on but they could leave after classes ended and on weekends. When I arrived I barely had enough time to put Sarah down and explain to Sam, Dean, and Cas what they had to do, and also tell them that Gabriel was not allowed to be around her, which Dean seemed glad about, before Charlie was dragging me out the door. We met with her friends at the door to the cafeteria.

“Guys, I want you to meet my friend, Grace… are you going by Miller or Shurly?” She asked me unsure.

“Miller”

“My friend Grace Miller! Grace, these are Claire, Eowyn, and Jo!” Charlie pointed at each one as she said their names. Claire had shoulder length straight blonde hair. She wore a blue button up and a pair of jeans. Eowyn had long, wavy, blonde hair and she wore a floral spaghetti strap dress that went just passed her knees. Jo also had wavy blonde hair. I was starting to see a trend in Charlies friends. She wore a black tank top, jeans, a black leather jacket, and black boots that went to her knees.

“Hey” I said with a small smile. I still wasn’t a fan of talking to people I didn’t know. I’m sure a few drinks would change that.

“She certainly needs some work, but I think she will fit right in” Jo said looking me up and down.

“She is kind of adorable. She seems so innocent” Eowyn giggled. I wanted to say I was far from innocent but I guess I didn’t want to say the points that made me not innocent, since all of them had been during the “war” and we had all taken a sworn to secrecy.

“Well we will change that tonight. Trust me to say that you don’t need a man to help you. Girls can be just as independent, and we are going to prove that to you” Claire grinned, coming up next to me.

“You told them Charlie?” I asked her, turning my head to see her.

“Did you expect anything less?” She asked in response

“She didn’t need to though. That fight told us all we needed to know” Jo informed me. I sighed. I wish I had never told Dean anything about that.

“Don’t worry, all of us have had guy problems at one point in our life. Except Charlie, she gets girl problems” Claire told me.

“Yeah, yeah. Enough about me. Are we going or not?” Charlie said, turning the talk away from herself.

“Lead on” Jo said and motioned for her to go first.

“We are going to your mothers bar like normal. It would seem more right for you to go first” Charlie countered.

“Well you are the one who got this group together and wanted to go out tonight. Not like we were doing anything anyways, but still. Your idea” Jo argued.

“Oh my god, you guys are children! I’ll go first” Eowyn said and walked in the lead. Charlie and Jo went after her, arguing about who knows what. Claire and I brought up the rear.

“So how long have you known Charlie?” She asked me out of curiosity.

“Over a year now. I was introduced to her the day before school started last year by my old roommates. One of which you met in the fight. His name is Dean. She helped me pick out a dress for the dance which is the first “date” I had with my soon to be ex-husband. Who you also met in the fight.” I explained.

“Oh wow. Charlie you have known her for over a year and never introduced her to us? I feel so hurt and neglected. How could you not bring her into this group?” Claire called up to Charlie.
