Chapter 19

We ran through the list one last time. Everything was there.

"Okay. I'm going to head out. Remember when Eowyn gets here send her out. I'll met her there." I told Charlie.

"Got it!" Charlie folded up the piece of paper with the list. "I'll see you in an hour of so"

"Yeah, see you soon" I left her and headed for my house. She had to pass right by my house to get to the store. It didn't take long her to go by so I grabbed my stuff and left. I ran to catch up with her.

"Hey, long time no talk" I said as I came up next to her.

"Hey! Where are you heading?" She asked as we walked.

"I was just going to do some grocery shopping. Sarah has been eating Baby food for a while now and I'm out so I figured I would get some." I told her.

"Really? I going that way too! Charlie wanted me to pick up stuff for a game day today. Are you coming?"

"I think I remember Charlie mentioning that. Yeah. I'll come for a little while. Sarah is with Gabriel right now, so I'm in no rush." I told her.

"Well why don't you help me get this stuff and so we can get there quicker" Eowyn suggested.

"Sure! I would love to help!" I grinned, but because this was working exactly as planned.

"So did you hear about what happened to the school overnight?"

"The teachers are saying vandalism, right?" I asked her.

"Yeah, but that isn't what the students are saying." She told me.

"What are the students saying?" I asked her.

"Some of the students went crazy and destroyed it. They were possessed or something." Well she wasn't wrong.

"Really? Why do they say that?" I ask her.

"One girl saw them. She said that they looked like they were going to kill someone."

"Wow, that must have been terrifying!" It was weird trying to pretend like I wasn't the one they were trying to kill. "No one died last night, right?"

"No, not that I've heard."

"That's good then. Is there like a curse that something bad will happen every Halloween or something? Because last year a student almost got killed and this year a group went crazy."

"I don't know. It is weird though. Look we are here!" She pointed over to the small store.

"Sweet! Lets do this!" Up ahead I saw that Faramir and Boromir had just entered the building. We walked in and grabbed a cart. We walked through grabbing ice cream and soda, and anything else that was on the list.

"The only thing left left is chips, right?" I asked her. She glanced at her list.

"Yeah, they are right this way." She led me down an aisle. Lucky for me the brothers were coming up the other way. I glanced around quickly and noticed a bag of chips on the top shelf.

"Let's get those ones. Those ones are really good." I told her as I pointed up.

"I'll grab them since I'm taller." She stood up on her tiptoes but couldn't quite reach. Right as Faramir and Boromir were walking by, I nudged her foot and she fell backwards, right onto Faramir and they both toppled to the ground. Boromir burst out laughing which caused his brother to flush bright red.

"I am so sorry, I guess I slipped." Eowyn seemed rather flustered.

"It's fine." Faramir told her and he helped her up. I grabbed Boromir and pulled him out of the aisle.

"Why did you did you pull me out of there? That was funny!" Boromir was still laughing. I told him about mine and Charlie's plan.

"Do you really think you are going to get them together?" Be asked me when I was done.

"Yeah, it's a challenge that I have accepted." I told him.

"Come on I don't think Faramir has even dated anyone. I don't think he even knows how to talk to a girl."

"He talks to me, and I'm his friend."

"Yeah but you are different. Besides how do you even know they will get together?"

"Because they do in the book. Trust me, this will all work out." I told him. I peeked around the corner and the two of them just stood there, talking but it seemed a little awkward.

"See! They are talking." He looked as well.

"Yeah, but look at how awkward they are. This isn't going to work."

"I bet you ten bucks they are together by Thanksgiving."

"Ten bucks says you are wrong."

"You are on!" We shook on it. The two of them walked out of the aisle.

"There you are! I got the chips, with Faramir's help. I couldn't reach them."

"That's cool. I think that's everything."

"Yeah it is. Let's go pay for so we aren't late." Eowyn walked off pushing the cart. I turned to Boromir before leaving.

"You are so going to lose this bet." I said and followed after Eowyn. "Sooooo?"

"So what?"

"He was kinda cute, don't you think?" I asked her.

"Yeah, I guess so, but I don't think he likes me."

"Are you kidding me! I saw they way he was looking at you. He definitely likes you. Plus I'm his friend so I know how to read him."

"Wait, do you really think he likes me?"

"Yeah, I know he does."

"I'll be right back." She ran off the way we had come and returned a few minutes later.

"What was that about?"

"I wanted to ask him if he wanted to practice together tomorrow, since we won't be having school."

"And what did he say?"

"He said he would love too!"

"That's awesome! You will have a great time" I give her a smile but I'm more happy because I'm going to be getting ten dollars from Boromir soon! After we pay for the snacks we head out for the game day.
