Chapter 21

I woke up early the next morning, having barely slept anyways. I had decided during the night that it was time to bring and end to this. The first thing I did was call Gabriel.

"Hello?" He seemed a little skeptical. I wouldn't be surprised. I hadn't called him since he had cheated on me.

"Hi Gabriel, it's Grace."

"Yeah, I know. I'm just surprised to have you call me."

"I was wondering if you could keep Sarah for a few more days. There is some... Unfinished business I have to take care of..." I didn't want to tell him the extent of my plan.

"You are going after Metatron, aren't you? After what he did to you the other day I wouldn't be surprised." Gabriel said.

"What are you talking about?"

"With the animatronics."

"How do you know about that? I didn't tell anyone..." That when it clicked. That wasn't really Gabriel. I dropped the phone and ran. When I got to Gabriel's home he wasn't there. I was in a panic. I didn't know what to do. Metatron had my daughter. I grabbed Gabriel's phone and called Anakin.

"What do you want Gabriel?" Anakin asked, there was hated in his voice.

"Anakin..."

"Grace? What's wrong? Did Gabriel do something to you?"

"No... It's worse. Gabriel wasn't Gabriel... Metatron has my daughter." I broke down and started to cry. I could never forgive myself if something happened to her.

"I'll be right there Grace." I heard a click on the other end and I slid down the wall. I just sat there crying. It took a few minutes for Anakin to get there. I heard him call my name but I didn't answer. He probably heard me crying because a moment later he entered the room I was in. He sat down beside me and pulled me into a hug.

"What if he does something to her?" I asked him, hiccuping through my words.

"We won't let that happen. We are going to get Sarah back."

"All this time I've been being led on... How did I not know it was him?"

"I don't know. Come on. Let's go find the others. We will find Metatron and get Sarah back." He helped me up and led me back to his dorm. No one was in there so he laid me down on his bed. He made a few calls when we got there. The door opened with a bang.

"Where is this son of a bitch so I can kill him!" I heard Dean yell as he came in.

"We... don't know." Anakin told him.

"Well when we find him I'm going to kill him. Then I'm going to bring him back to life and kill him again." Dean came over and sat on the edge of the bed and hugged me. "We are going to find that son of a bitch!" Dean reassured me. I nodded. The others came in a couple minutes later. By then my crying had calmed down, but my worry hadn't. I felt like I had failed Sarah and if Metatron hurt her in any way it would be the end of him.

"As all of you guys know from Halloween, Metatron is still alive." They nodded as I spoke. "What you don't know, and I just found out, is that he has somehow been impersonating Gabriel. Sarah had spent the weekend at Gabriel's house. When I realized he wasn't Gabriel he fled. By the time I got there he was gone and so was Sarah. Metatron has my daughter, and we need to get her back."

"The only problem is, is that we don't know where he is."

"Actually I might know. Not far from here is an abandoned warehouse. When Metatron kidnapped me last year, he brought me there. He might be there again." I told him. "It wouldn't be wise to use the same location, but it's possible."
