After Scott had reunited with Cassie the three headed to see Tony. Steve, Nat and Scott pulled up outside of Tony's house the billionaire standing outside on the porch. He was holding up his daughter in one arm. He placed her on the ground and the young Stark ran inside.

"You could've called" Tony joked trying to ignore the tension between him and Steve.

"Trust me Tony this is a conversation we need to have in person" Steve replied.

Tony sighed and nodded gesturing for the three to come on the porch. Steve looked back at Nat and the read gave him a small nod before walking over taking a seat across from Tony.

Scott began explaining the plan, going back in time. Collecting the stones bringing everyone back. Even Natasha and Steve knew how far fetched it sounded, but they had no other choice. They've been sitting back for five years, five years they've been desperate to bring everyone back but they didn't know how. Scott's given them a slither of hope, a slither but it was the only hope we had.

"So your suggesting like a back to the future kinda time heist?" Tony asked raising a brow.

Scott opened his mouth to speak but quickly shut it, pressing his lips in a thin line.

"Yeah.." Scott admitted.

"Look this plan is ridiculous ok, time travel seriously you guys need to move on" Tony said.

"What about Peter?" Steve chimed in.

Tony's jaw clenched and he glared at Steve.

"Don't you want him back" Steve asked.

"Of course I do, but it's impossible to bring them back so I moved on Steve. Just like you need to" Tony sighed.

"It's not that easy Tony" Steve said.

Tony shook his head and Morgan ran outside jumping onto her father's lap letting out a laugh. Steve looked down at the young child and offered her a small smile.

"Mom told me to come and save you" She said in a quiet voice.

"Well thank you I'm saved" Tony muttered glancing up to meet Steve's gaze.

Tony stood up scooping his daughter up with him holding her on his side.

"Look Pepper has set up extra plates for lunch if you guys want but there's no talking shop" Tony said.

Scott let out a sigh and Natasha nodded.

"I'll see yoy around Tony" Natasha said offering the billionaire a small smile.

Tony nodded returning the gesture.

"I think I'll stay here" Steve said.

Natasha looked at Steve for a second with confusion but agreed giving the blonde a pat on the shoulder before her and Scott headed back to the car.

Tony set Morgan on the ground and placed a kiss on the young girls forhead.

"We'll be in a second" Tony whispered.

The brunette gave her dad a smile before running off inside. Tony sat back down, Steve taking a seat next to him.

"So how have you been cap?" Tony asked.

"Pretty shit" Steve chuckled glancing down at his hands.

"Language" Tony teased.

Steve shook his head and let out a small laugh.

"Really after 8 years I still can't live that down?" Steve asked raising a brow.

"Nope" Tony laughed popping the 'p'.

Steve chuckled and the tension between the two melted away.

"You seem like a great dad Tony" Steve said.

A smile spread across his face.

"Thanks, I try my best" Tony shrugged.

Steve smiled but stayed quiet, Tony could tell something was wrong.

"Why are you so desperate to get everyone back. Miss your boyfriend Bucky" Tony teased.

Steve sighed and shook his head.

"No I miss my girlfriend, well my fiance  I suppose" Steve said.

"Didn't know you had one" Tony said giving Steve a sad smile.

"Yeah she's the love of my life, we were going to get married kids the whole package ya know. Then the snap happened and well... I made it, she didn't" Steve said.

"I'm really sorry Steve" Tony said solemnly.

Steve pressed his lips into a tight smile as he blinked his eyes feeling them begin to water.

"Who was the lucky girl?" Tony asked.

"Y/n, Y/n Parker" Steve said smiling slightly as he spoke her name.

"Peter's sister?" Tony asked.

Steve nodded in reply.

"She seemed really great" Tony said.

"She really was something" Steve said smiling to himself.

The two old friends found themselves talking for hours, the tension from civil war gone. Pushing the past behind them and chatting like old friends, exchanging stories about what happened in the 7 years they were apart.

But one important thing was Tony solved it.

He had solved time travel. Steve managed to convince him to try and he did. They had a chance to bring everyone back.

"I can't believe it" Steve said in shock.

"Figured it on in one night, still got it" Tony said clapping Steve on the back.

"What convinced you?" Steve asked.

"Hearing you talk about your girl, you deserve it Steve and Peter. I've been ignoring it." Tony said.

Steve smiled and placed his hand on Steve's shoulder giving it a squeeze.

"Wait right here" Tony said.

He left the room and Steve gazed up at the hologram displaying the time machine. They can bring them back, Y/n will be back.

Tony returned holding the shield by his side. The red, white and blue shield was a sight for sore eyes. The star seemed to almost shine.

"I think you should have this back, Morgan's been asking to take it sledding" Tony joked.

Tony held out the shield, Steve hesitated for a second before taking the shield. Smiling at the familiar feeling.

"Thank you Tony" Steve said softly.

"It's all yours Captain" Tony said with a smile.
