After we all got medical attention, Steve began driving towards Queens to drop Peter home. Also for me to see Aunt May. I hadn't seen her in two years, well technically seven.
Peter had fallen asleep in the back, his head leaning up against the window.
"What do we do now?" I asked Steve.
"Whatever we want, I'm home" Steve said glancing at me.
My lips curled into a small smile, Steve reached over placing his hand on my thigh as he drove.
"The five years without were rough" Steve admitted.
I placed my hand ontop of his.
"I can only imagine" I whispered.
"Natasha always wanted me to move on, but I didn't want to" Steve said.
"I can't believe she's gone" I sighed looking out the window.
"Me neither, she was the only person I had for the last five years" Steve sighed.
I felt guilty, I don't know why being dusted wasn't my fault. But Steve's sadness was. He was sad because I was gone, no scratch that not sad he was devastated.
"I'm so sorry Steve" I whispered to him.
"It's not your fault" Steve reassured me.
"I know" I replied.
A small silence fell between us, just like before it was a comfortable silence. Steve was just glad I was in his company once more. He traced patterns into my thigh with his finger as he drove.
"Do you still want to marry me?" I asked my voice hushed.
Steve looked over to me his eyes softening. He nodded his head.
"Of course I do Y/n. For the past five years that's all I've wanted, was you for you to finally be my wife. Time hasn't effected how much I love you" Steve assured me.
I smiled and pressed a kiss onto his knuckles holding his hand in mine.
"I'll see Aunt May and then we can have some alone time" I said to Steve.
A small smirk appeared on Steve's face.
"I can't wait, you have no idea how badly I've been craving you" Steve husked.
I bit my lower lip looking up at Steve who's blue eyes were blown with lust. Steve pulled up to the curb outside the apartment building.
I looked up at the building feeling anxious.
"Hey you'll be ok" Steve assured me.
"Can you come in with me?" I asked Steve.
He nodded and unbuckled his seatbelt.
"Of course" He replied.
I looked back at Peter who was still sleeping. I reached back and lightly shook his shoulder.
"Hey Pete" I said softly.
His eyes slowly fluttered open and he looked up at the apartment building. He unbuckled his seatbelt and got out of the car. Steve and I following behind him as we climbed the stairs up.
Peter sucked in a deep breath before knocking on the door. The door swung open and Aunt may stood behind it. A look of relief washing over her.
"Peter oh my gosh" She said in relief pulling my brother into her.
Peter let out a sigh and melted into Aunt May's touch. She looked up and noticed me and Steve.
"Y/n, oh my god" Aunt May said in shock.
She grasped my shoulder pulling me into the now group hug.
"I missed you Y/n" She said rubbing my back.
"I missed you too" I replied.
I pulled away and Aunt May lead us inside.
"Who is this hunk of a man?" Aunt May teased.
I let out a groan and Steve laughed behind.
"May this is Steve, he's my fiance" I replied gesturing towards him.
Steve smiled at me and offered Aunt may a small wave.
"Oh you Captain America, Y/n used to have the biggest crush on you" May rambled on.
My cheeks burned red, despite Steve already knowing that.
"I can't believe your engaged and I can't believe you're back, I didn't think I'd get you back" Aunt May sighed.
"I didn't think we'd be able to bring everyone back" Steve sighed.
"You weren't dusted?" May asked.
Steve shook his head.
"No, but Y/n was" Steve said.
"And you didn't move on?" May asked.
"I couldn't" Steve said looking down at me.
We all sat down in the living room minus Peter who was too exhausted, he headed to his room to sleep. I helped Peter walk into his room while my My talked to Steve. Most likely embarrassing the shit out of me.
I helped Peter get into bed, he let out a grunt as his back hit the mattress.
"You're here to stay now right?" Peter asked.
"Yeah, I'm not going anywhere I promise" I reassured him.
Peter gave me a weak smile.
"You should get some rest" I said.
"Will you be here in the morning?" He asked.
"I'm going to Steve's place, but I'll come and see you when I wake up ok" I said.
"Ok" Peter nodded his head.
"I love you Pete" I said.
"I love you too" He replied.
I patted his leg and stood up heading back out into the lounge. I could see May smiling at something Steve had said.
I smiled at the two and sat down next to Steve, he draped his arm over my shoulder and oulled me close to him.
"I missed you kid" Aunt May said softly.
"I missed you too May, I'm sorry I had to leave" I said sheepishly.
"Y/n, you had it's ok" Aunt May said softly.
