Loud grunting and people yelping was what David awoke to upon regaining consciousness. His vision was doubled, but until it settled to normal vision, he laid his eyes on a tall woman in a white dress with golden torque and a red cloak. Her hair was fiery orange with what appeared to be blue markings all over her arms, forehead, cheeks and on her chest. She wielded a spear as she brutally beat up the group of men who attempted to kidnap (Y/n).

While David was grateful for being saved, he couldn't quite put his finger on whom exactly she was as he was not aware of any historical women with red hair and appeared to be a warrioress. His heavy breathing caught her ears as the tall woman whose height appeared to be about seven foot two, where her piercing stare frightened David as he became hesitant on expressing his thanks for her saving his life.

"How doth thee fare, sir? Art thee did injure?" The woman spoke with a rather strange British accent. The way she spoke made it sound Shakespearean.

David furrowed his brows together, quickly trying to put together what exactly she said.

"Doth thy ears w'rk, sir? I hath asked thee a questioneth."

Wordlessly, David stuttered until he was finally able to pick up words.

"I-I-I'm fine. Thank you for saving me, miss...?"

"Boudicca. Queen of the Iceni and revolutionary 'gainst the romans. P'rhaps thee has't hath heard of me? Wherefore, I'm quite famous in mine own homeland."

"Uhh... Oh wait, yeah. Your name does sound familiar, actually!"

"What is thy nameth, sir?"

"David Gardner, m'lady." He answered respectfully and bowed.

This made her raise an eyebrow at his respect, a smile formed on her naturally red lips where her emerald green eyes scanned his body from head to toe. Being in a different time to many, many centuries ago, Boudicca was quite astounded by his attire.

"What is't thee holdeth in thy careth, yond tablet. And wherefore doth these Egyptians dareth befall harmeth onto thee?" Boudicca inquired, her hand pointing at the golden tablet lying on the floor beside him.

"A... it's a magic tablet."

The redhead suddenly burst into haughty laughter. "Thee expecteth me to believeth yond prepost'rous claimeth?! Charm! Oh, doth not maketh me chuckle."

"Look, I know it's hard to believe, but right now... everything in this museum isn't meant to be animated. In fact, it should all be fake. All of it! Wax figurines, paintings; all sorts of stuff." David explained, but quickly noticed that his comments fell on deaf ears.

"Wh're art we, David of the Gardn'r? Art we in England?"

"Uhh, no, actually. We're in another country you haven't discovered back in your time. In fact... you're in the future."

"The future...?" She muttered, her gaze now inspecting everything in sight as such amazement left her baffled with what the future had in store for her. "What is this s'rc'ry? The travelling lamp so closeth yet so... dim."

"Those are called lights - or for the actual object that emits the light are called lightbulbs."

"Fascinating! Thee might not but pray pardon me m're to me, David of the Gardn'r, but I am in haste to reunite with mine own followeth'rs and taketh mine own attention towards the Romans."

"Well, about that... No, look, lady. I'm getting too side-tracked right now, and I really need to go bring this tablet somewhere safe. But I can't 'cause I got these Egyptian numbnuts after me."

"Then we shalt square those folk togeth'r! Taketh up arms and we shalt winneth this war 'gainst the Egyptians and triumphant so yond we may drinketh and carouse all night!"

Boudicca spun her spear in her hand and made her decision to trek through the hall she hadn't passed through yet. He guarded the tablet with his life as he was left no choice but to follow her if he were to ensure the tablet did not fall into the clutches of the Egyptians. By a stroke of luck, Boudicca's allies were able to reunite themselves with their leader and discussed the means of war against the Egyptians.

Their confidence with striding into battle was something David rather admirable, at how willing they were to die for what they believed in. Now that the odds were properly evened, David accompanied his newfound allies as they patrolled the museum, purposeful intent on being discovered by the Egyptian warriors. Eventually, they were able to locate the remaining Egyptian warriors protecting their great Pharaoh who was most pleased with the fact that they had the audacity to bring that which he desired straight to him, but also trouble.

"Aahhh, how generous of you to give me the tablet. Now... over it hither." Kahmunrah raised his voice before lowering it for his deep, commanding tone.

"Fie! cometh h're and englut mine own coxcomb thee distemperate fooleth!" Boudicca cursed in abnormal English.

Everybody but Boudicca's own followers looked at her in confusion until she made another proclamation that seemed to make more sense.

"Taketh up arms, I sayeth. And has't thy wits about thee as we square f'r the gl'ry of battleth!"

"GET THEEEEM!!"

Both parties roared as weapons were unsheathed and they drew into combat. David did well to evade any oncoming weapons whose wielders intended to do him harm so to claim the tablet in his hand. Using his free hand, David fend off any that dared get too close until a body was shoved towards him, knocking the tablet out of his hand until it was kicked around like a soccer ball when he started to chase after it, unbeknownst to him that Kahmunrah was doing the same.

When the two men crossed paths, their expressions hardened. David was able to attack first by throwing his fist at Kahmunrah's face, connecting his clenched hand with his cheek before he immediately retaliated by backhanding the brown-haired man before spinning around to punch him back in the face. Every so often the two would look for the tablet and make an attempt to steal it, but not before the other would prevent them from doing so.

By a dirty trick conned on David, Kahmunrah managed to gain the upper hand and kick his opponent aside before making a dash for the tablet. He was able to get as far as putting said tablet into a slot on the wall of an ancient Egyptian door which seemed to open a gateway connected to the afterlife. Everybody's attention was drawn onto the gate, the Pharaoh raised his arms up in glory of what power the afterlife had to share, a small fraction.

"BEHOLD!! MY POWER!!"

As soon as he turned his back to everybody, David saw an opportunity and acted on it. Without Kahmunrah's awareness, David snuck up on him, getting a good run-up before drop-kicking the Pharaoh through the portal. The Egyptians soldiers then followed as their presence there was pointless without their fearless leader, therefore ending their short-lived reign. With his business now concluded, David made the intention of returning home, not before addressing Boudicca.

"Thank you for all your help, Boudicca." David said appreciatively.

"Of course. 'T is mine own pleasure to assisteth a fellow English. What shalt becometh of thee anon?"

"Well, I plan to get this tablet back to my father so we can get it translated and figure out what kind of trouble some bad folks are up to."

"Then I blesseth thee with speedeth and f'rtune on thy journey, David of the Gardn'r."

He gave her one last smile before making his leave, in which all of the exhibitionists returned to their places until they all returned to eternal slumber as soon as the tablet was deactivated. All David needed to do now was find out what Jessica's father sought.
