Wen Kexing smiled, waking to the feeling of lips brushing against his throat. He reluctantly opened his eyes, sighing almost dreamingly when Zhou Zishu released his abuse on his neck to nuzzle his face against Wen Kexing's cheek.
"Silly man, who wakes so early now?" Wen Kexing muttered, bringing a hand up to lightly caress Zhou Zishu's hair. Unlike Wen Kexing, he had preferred his locks loose, and therefore, tangled by morning come.
"I finally got to taste my wife's lips after so long," Zhou Zishu nipped at his earlobe, Wen Kexing releasing a stuttered breath at that, "How can I stay asleep when the real world has gifted me such a blessing?"
"Ridiculous husband," Wen Kexing rolled his eyes, but his smile never left.
He really was going to marry this silly former assassin one day, Wen Kexing had faith that whoever this Da Wu was - he would surely heal Zhou Zishu.
"Only for you," Zhou Zishu teased, laughing when Wen Kexing nudged him off from his hovering.
"I'll have to go into town soon," Wen Kexing noted, standing and stretched his arms above his head just a bit.
Arms immediately found their way around his waist, Wen Kexing snorting at their familiarity there. Zhou Zishu hummed in agreement, "We'll come with you, just for breakfast. Then the kids and I can return so that they can train while you gather the groceries needed."
"All by myself, you expect me to handle all that food?" Wen Kexing huffed, turning within Zhou Zishu's hold to pinch his ear, "No way, A' Xiang and A' Ning will come with me. That way you can train our silly boy more, but make sure to take breaks and switch from Shifu to his father during, understand? Just because I'll be gone all day doesn't mean you can bully that boy more!"
"Goddamn it, A' Xing," Zhou Zishu cursed, batting away Wen Kexing's hand to glare at him, rubbing the red lobe, "I'm not one of your kids to discipline."
"You're my husband to discipline," Wen Kexing retorted, rolling his eyes, "Now stop distracting, I'll bathe first and you wake up the kids. Then you can bathe while they do as well. I expect you all ready within two hours, understood?"
"Why can't we just bathe together?" Zhou Zishu sighed, leaning forward to press his lips against Wen Kexing's throat once more.
Wen Kexing's breath stuttered once more when Zhou Zishu sucked, tongue coming out to wet the flesh and teeth nibbling lightly. His eyes threatened to close, a low moan escaping unwillingly. This caused Wen Kexing to feel Zhou Zishu smirk in response, hands moving downward to grope at his backside, pressing him closer.
The feel of something hard pressing against Wen Kexing's thigh brought him back to attention, huffing as he took himself out from Zhou Zishu's grasp.
"That's why, you insatiable man!" Wen Kexing scolded, pointing a finger accusingly at Zhou Zishu, "We'll never be able to leave if we bathe together. Now shoo, shoo, go away and wake up the kids!"
Zhou Zishu smiled way too smugly for his taste.
"Yes, dear."

Wen Kexing spent the whole day at the market, Cao Weining and Gu Xiang by his side helping to pick up ingredients for a feast. Though Wen Kexing was not particularly - in fact, far from - fond of Ye Baiyi, he will begrudgingly admit that the man was actually helping.
He still didn't like him, though.
The Sword Immortal irked the hell out of him, and they only really just met briefly.
