Things That Should Be Made Known Pt. 8

After Story Notes:

🔹Ye Baiyi stays at the Four Seasons Manor because he still doesn't know about Wen Kexing's connection to the Ghost Valley.

🔹 Canonically, Han Ying and Zhou Zishu are 8 years apart in age if I recall correctly. I'm pretty sure Zhou Zishu was 30 and Han Ying was 22. so about 8 years. So in this story, they met when Zhou Zishu was 20 and Han Ying was 12. Zhou Zishu, feeling bad for Han Ying - who was an orphan slave to a rich Young Master that he had just assassinated, takes the boy in and trains him. He ends up giving the ribbon to Han Ying because the boy was scared and did not want to stray too far from Zhou Zishu. He told Han Ying that the ribbon was obtained from the most blessed human being alive and as such, it will keep Han Ying safe.

🔹The reason Wen Kexing knows that Han Ying is no longer in danger of dying is because his Death Day changed when Ye Baiyi started to heal him. Although he's not in danger of death anymore, he is still too weak to fight at the current moment and needs to rest.

🔹Ye Baiyi is hard to write lol so bare with me on this.

🔹Han Ying didn't go to get glazed armour, btw. Since in this world, Wen Kexing never made copies. He did sneak around though and found out about the information regarding Zhou Zishu's dad's death. Ever the loyalist, he felt like Zhou Zishu needed to know and had tried to reach him. He was injured by the Window of Heaven on his way through.

🔹Han Ying and Xie Wang are on a break - they had an argument regarding Xie Wang's Yifu and the glazed armour.

🔹Han Ying has a hero crush on Zhou Zishu lol but obviously he doesn't think it'll go anywhere - it's why he was hurt over Xie Wang because he thought that they actually had a chance together 🤧

🔹By now, Zhou Zishu has lost his sense of smell and taste, it's why he was telling Wen Kexing of how he remembered him smelling and tasting like when they first met.
