"What do we do?"

Zhang Chengling, the poor boy, looked so shaken - standing between Gu Xiang and Cao Weining. The three of them gathered around the bed Han Ying laid unconscious in, still too weak to wake up.

"Easy, we fight," Ye Baiyi stated, a serious look upon his deceptively youthful face.

Wen Kexing, in all honesty, didn't want the kids anywhere near the Window of Heaven. He's heard enough from Zhou Zishu to know that trained professional assassins are not to be dealt with. They may have had a few encounters with the Scorpions before, but never to this magnitude.

Though Gu Xiang's martial arts were decent enough, there was still the matter of not knowing what Cao Weining was capable of and most definitely of Zhang Chengling's inability to fight without tripping over his own feet.

Wen Kexing, himself, didn't even think he could handle so many assassins at once. There's a difference between fighting beggars whose Martial Arts were hardly anything worth noting and fighting the very people Zhou Zishu had trained. His powers could help, but close combat will be the end of him.

Zhou Zishu seemed to share this same train of thought for he tightened his grip on Wen Kexing's hand for a moment, a distressed furrowing of his brows.

"Old monster, I don't think this is something we can just fight our way through," Wen Kexing spoke up, for once not actively trying to fight with the older man.

Ye Baiyi turned towards Wen Kexing with a scoff, like he was about to debunk him but paused - looking over the group. He seems to realize just who he is with - who he is surrounded by. Three teens with decent but not good enough martial arts, a non-martial artist, a handicapped martial artist that would be pretty distracted if he had to fight to protect said four people and an unconscious assassin, unable to wake up - let alone fight.

It was not the best group to have against an army of professional killers.

"Alright, new plan," Ye Baiyi said bluntly, "All of you brats sneak out while I handle the masses then."

Gu Xiang scoffed, crossing her arms as she grumbled out, "Sounding awfully confident for an old man."

"Awfully annoying for a young lady," Ye Baiyi retorted, the two sending glares at one another.

Wen Kexing didn't know whether to laugh or cry. They're in the middle of a crisis and he's surrounded by children.

"Please, can we stay on track?" Zhou Zishu shook his head, his thumb caressing reassuringly at the back of Wen Kexing's hand, "Senior Ye, I need you to lead them out. I'll surrender, it's me they're after."

"No!"

Wen Kexing was more than pleased when his protest was joined by four others - his stupid lover appearing far too surprised over it.

"Your plan is stupid, we're going with mine," Ye Baiyi lifted his chin in a show of superiority when Zhou Zishu's eyes hardened - a look of pure defiance settling on his beautiful face.

"A' Xu, please," Wen Kexing muttered, catching Zhou Zishu's gaze, "You promised you would never leave again."

Zhou Zishu's eyes softened, an almost guilty look taking over. His seemed to take in Wen Kexing's facial features, eyes tracing over every detail before sighing in defeat.

"Alright," Zhou Zishu agreed, turning back towards Ye Baiyi, "What's the plan?"

Ye Baiyi raised a brow, looking between Wen Kexing and Zhou Zishu. He looked like he wanted to make a comment but seemed to wisely keep it himself - though, maybe it was just the situation that had him keep his mouth shut. Wen Kexing felt like he was going to hear of it later on should they all make it out alive.
