Chapter Three

Tobio, Shōyō, and I were walking to morning practice just to do a few more practice runs before we head to Aoba Johsai. As soon as we got to the gym, it was already opened. We checked in to see who it was and it was our third years. Tobio and Shōyō go change into their gym clothes and I stayed in the gym. I began packing some volleyballs and double checked we had everything.

"Ah, nee-san! I already checked and we have everything we need." Sugawara shouts towards me. I turn to see if he was looking at me and since he was, I gave him a thumbs up. I put the list away and brought everything outside. Soon enough, Sensei brought the van and I loaded everything up. The time came and we loaded up onto the van. It wasn't too far of a drive so I just popped in my headphones and worked on some more plays that we could do.

Time flew by so fast that I didn't realize we were here. I felt someone tap my shoulder and I looked up. It was Sugawara and Daichi. I take a headphone out and look at them.

"We're here nee-san. Everyone has gotten off except for you." Daichi says and I turn a bit red. I nod and get my stuff. I get off with them following behind me. I smile evilly and I can tell that Tobio was secretly happy but showed that he was worried.

"Nee-san, please don't do anything out of proportion." He says to me and I chuckle.

"Of course not. What gave you that impression?" I say and walk into the school. The boys followed behind me as we made our way to the gym. I see a bunch of people who I know and some I don't. I see the one person I was very close with and run over to him. I jump on his back and he and I go tumbling down.

"What the hell?!" He says.

"Iwa-kun!" I say and he looks down to see it's me. He smiles and hugs me tightly.

"Y/N-chan! It's been so long!" He says and kisses my cheek. I blush a bright red and giggle. I used to like Iwa-kun a lot. I still do and he does have a special place in my heart. We dated for a while but we ended up breaking up. We ended up on the nonstop cycle of getting back together and then breaking up. We eventually decided to end it completely and didn't talk for a while. Now, we keep in touch and are best friends again.

"Iwa-kun, you can't do that stuff when we are here. We have to be professional. But yeah it's been a while. How are you doing?" I say with a blush and smile.

"I've been good. Get a load of this, Shittykawa sprained his ankle earlier in the week. He should be back for practice today. They're getting him checked out." He tells me and I smile.

"Then I got the perfect surprise for him. Just make sure he doesn't see me at all." I say.

"Okay, just stay behind your sensei. You're still as small as I remember. Have you even grew?" He jokes with me patting my head.

"You're lucky I can't kick your ass right here. And I did grow a couple inches, it may not be much but it's still something! Besides, I'm not the one who has a crush on Shittykawa." I say whispering the last part. He turns red and looks away from me.

"Sh-Shut up! At least I made a move on my guy whereas you can't." He says and my face drops. I look down with small tears prickling my eyes. He notices and starts to panic. I hear footsteps behind me and someone clearing their throat.

"What did you do to her?" I look up to see Tobio with a pissed off expression and I shake my head.

"I-I didn't mean to Tobio-kun. We were just joking around and I took it too far. I'm sorry Y/N-chan. I didn't mean it." Iwa-kun says and I look up at him. My tears went away and I smiled.

"You're an asshole. But you're right. Either way, guess who did make their move?" I say pointing to Tobio. He blushes and smiles like an idiot.

"I did. We are together now." He says and Iwa-kun smiles.
