Chapter Ten

We had gotten back from our week training camp with Nekoma and the other school. I finished locking up the gym and all our equipment when Tanaka had came up to me.

"Y/N nee-chan, I have a question to ask you." He says and I nod for him to continue. "Well, I wanted to take Kiyoko-san out on a date this weekend. I just don't know what to do. Do you have any suggestions?"

"Hmm. Well you could always take her out to the mall and just walk around looking at stuff, or even just go out on a simple ice cream date. Also you could-" I start before Yachi-chan had cut me off.

"Tanaka-san! Y/N-san!" She came running towards us. As soon as she caught up to us, she bent down to catch her breath.

"Yachi-chan? What is it?! What's wrong?!" I say.

"It's Hinata-kun and Kageyama-kun! They're fighting in the gym. Hinata-kun wanted to practice their attacks and it wasn't going how he wanted. They started yelling at each other and eventually Kageyama-kun threw Hinata-kun. Hinata-kun just ran up to him and attached himself to his side and wouldn't let go until Kageyama-kun gave him a toss. Kageyama-kun threw him once again and they began to fight. Please go stop them!" She explains and I stand there in shock. Tobio put his hands on Shōyō. Tanaka and I began running to the gym as fast as we could. As soon as we made it, they were practically at each other's throats.

"Are you saying it was my toss that's at fault here?!" Tobio shouts.

"No! It was perfect! Spot on!" Shōyō shouts back.

"Then?! What is it?!"

"If I don't get better, it's not going to work on stronger opponents, either!"

"Oi! Both of you! Stop it right now!" Tanaka and I shout as we pull them apart. I have Tobio in my arms away from him while Tanaka has Shōyō.

"That is enough from both of you! Tanaka, please take Shōyō home. I'll take my brother." I say and kept him restrained. Tanaka nods and takes Shōyō by force out of the gym. "Yachi-chan, I got it from here. You can go home."

She nods and grabs her stuff before she left. Tobio and I began cleaning up the gym and putting everything away. We grabbed our bags and I locked up the gym doors. As soon as we were about to walk home, I slammed Tobio against the wall.

"What the hell was that?! Do you know how much it hurts me to see my two favorite people argue over something so dumb?! Huh?!" I shout and he looks down at me.

"I...I don't know what came over me." He says softly.

"Ive taught you better than that Tobio! I always told you to never EVER lay a hand on your significant other no matter how mad you get. Yet, you ignore it all and do it anyway. How dare you raise a hand on him?!"

"I'm sorry! It was in the heat of the moment! I-I got carried away! I-I'm sorry! I-I didn't m-mean i-it!" He shouts back and breaks down. He falls to his knees and sobs hard. I sigh and kneels down with him. I pull him into a hug and we stay like that for a while. He calms down and soon enough stays quiet.

"You need to make it up to him. He's your boyfriend and I know you don't want to lose him." I say and he nods.

"I can't lose him. He's my everything. I want to marry him. I want him to become Kageyama Shōyō." He says softly and I nod.

"Then apologize." I say and get up. He gets up as well and looks at me with the reddest I've ever seen his eyes. I pat him on the head and he smiles softly. It fades away once again knowing the only person that can make him keep his smile is Shoyo. We walk in silence and soon made it home. He heads straight for his room and I sigh. I walk into my room and open up my messages.
