Chapter Six

A week later, day of practice match with Nekoma

I wake up to the sound my alarm and someone falling off their bed. I get up and rush into Tobio's room to see him on the floor. I rush over to him and sit him up.

"Dumbass, what did you go? How did you fall?" I ask and he holds his head.

"I was reaching for my alarm and as I did, I leaned over too far and fell over. I'm okay so don't worry about it." He says and I chuckled.

"Idiot, hurry up and get dressed. Shōyō-chan is going to be here soon." I say and leave his room. I grab my things and hop into the shower quickly. As soon as I'm out I get a text from my manager. I brushed my teeth as I read the message.

From Mafuyu-sama🎶:

Hey, don't forget that you have rehearsal tomorrow.

I pout before replying and finish up my morning routine.

To Mafuyu-sama🎶:

I thought we canceled it? Was something added or did they want change something?

From Mafuyu-sama🎶:

Yes, they wanted to add a part to the new song. Please don't forget to go. I'd rather you be late than not go Y/N-chan.

To Mafuyu-sama🎶:

Yeah yeah, I'll be there. It was just one time that I forgot. I swear you're never going to forget about it. Got to go, I have school.

From Mafuyu-sama🎶:

I will never forget. Have a good day. I'll see you tomorrow.

I leave it be and make my way to the living room. I played a game on my phone and waited for Tobio. Once he came out of his room, we walked out of the house locking the door as well. We walked down the driveway to find Shōyō there waiting for us. He smiles and wave to us. We wave back and Tobio has a small blush covering his cheeks.

"Ohayo nee-chan! Ohayo Tobio-kun!" Shōyō shouts and smiles. We didn't talk much since it was too early in the morning. It was a nice comfortable silence on our walk to school. Daichi, Sugawara, and Asahi met us at school. We parted our ways but before I did I used two fingers and tapped Tobio's forehead before telling him to have a good day. He smiles and nods before walking away with Shōyō to their classes.

School ended just as fast as it began but I'm not complaining. That just meant it was time for the Nekoma practice match. I start getting all of our things in the van and wait for everyone else. I walk towards the club room and knock on the door.

"Whats taking you boys so long?! You guys doing your makeup or something?! We ain't got all day! Hurry up or we will leave you behind!" I shout and hear stuff being grabbed quickly. I step back and the boys came running out of there as fast as they could. They make their way to the van and climb in. And that my friends is how you get a group of volleyball boys out of the club room fast. At least this group of volleyball boys. I smile to myself and follow them to the van.

"Alright, is everyone here?" I say and they all nod. "Good, let's head out!"

Sensei began driving to the training camp. It wasn't too far but it was still a ways away from us. In that camp, there is a gym that we will play in. It's kind of meeting half way for both of us. Once we made it, we stepped out and Nekoma had just arrived as well. The boys stood in a line facing each other with Nekoma and you could honestly cut the tension with a knife. While all the boys were getting settled in, Kiyoko and I were getting all of our stuff ready. As I walk by, I see Shōyō talking to one of the Nekoma members.
