Few Years Later

It's been years now and Suga and I have graduated. He graduated first since he was a third year and I graduated right after since I was a second year at the time. We both now live together and it's been fun. I'm doing my music career full time now. Sugawara and I are still together and have never been more happy. He's studying to be a Primary School teacher and I'm proud of him.

I'm currently on break from my road trip tour and at home to surprise Suga. I haven't answered his calls since I didn't want to ruin the surprise but I was answering him through text.

Sugar, why aren't you answering my phone calls? Have I done something wrong? 🥺

To SugaBaby❤️:

No baby! Of course not! I'm just busy that's all! I can answer you through text but I don't have time to talk on the phone. We can talk as soon as you get home. I should be done by then.

Okay 🥰. I should be home soon. I got out of class early so I should be there in about 10 minutes. Is that okay?

I finish up making his favorite, spicy mapo tofu. As I clean everything up, I hear the door open and I pop my head up through the little window we have in our kitchen above the stove that looks into the living room. He lets his backpack fall on to the couch and he proceeds to sit down next to it.

"God damn. I wish Y/N was here. I miss her too much." He says with a smile. He smells the air after noticing that it smells like his favorite. "Wait a minute."

He gets up quickly and rushes into the kitchen to find me hiding and smiling. I jump onto him and he holds me close. He buries his face into my neck and I bury my face into his chest.

"Sugar when did you get here? Why didn't you tell?" He says as he pulls away with tears in his eyes and a huge smile on his face.

"Oh Kō-chan don't cry! You're gonna make me cry! I wanted to surprise you so that's why I haven't been answering other than text today. I made your favorite today." I show him and he smiles more. He kisses my forehead gently and I blush.

"Thank you so much babe. You didn't have to do this you know." He says.

"I know but I wanted to. I missed you and I felt like spoiling you. So, this is the first step." I say.

"The first step? How many are there?" He says and I giggle.

"Wouldn't you like to know? Now come on, let's eat." I say and grab the plates. I served him and I and we sat down eating and talking about our day.

"Here I'll help you wash up. It's only fair after you made this for me." Sugawara says as he stands next to me. I nod softly and he helps me out. As soon as we finished, I dragged him to the bedroom.

"Now go change into something less school like. We are going out." I say and shut the door. I go into the bathroom and change into my clothes. It was a bit chilly so I chose a grey sweater and a pair of dark blue jeans with a pair of black shoes. I fix my hair and walk out to the living room waiting for Sugawara. As soon as he steps out, we held hands and began walking. I wore a mask and so did he so no one could recognize us as much.
