Few Weeks Later
"Mommy mommy! Since it's the weekend, can we go play volleyball?!" S/N asks and I think about it.
"How about this? You come with me to the studio, you help mommy with her music, and we can go to the park after. Does that sound good?" I say and he nods.
"Okay mommy! I'll go get ready!" He runs upstairs and to his room as I do the same to my room. I change and as I step out, so does s/n. I grab his hand and we head downstairs and out the door. I decided to stop by the near by coffee shop to get a drink for both of us. Once we made it, I got s/n out and we walked in.
"Hello, what can I get for you today?" The lady asks and smiles.
"I'll have a f/d and my son will have an apple juice. That's all." I say and she nods.
"Can I get a name for the order?"
"Y/-"
"S/N! My name mommy please?!" He asks and I chuckle.
"S/N it is." I say and the lady laughs. She writes down the name and I pay for the drinks. As we wait, I have my son play on my phone and soon enough, his name was called.
"S/N! Order for s/n!" The lady shouts and leaves our drinks there. I walk up and grab our drinks and turn to see Sugawara with s/n. I walk over and couldn't help but smile.
"Sugawara-san, I didn't know you were here." I say and give s/n his juice.
"Ah well I was in the other booth when I heard them shout s/n's name and when I looked up to see you I snuck my way over to s/n. What are you guys doing here?" He asks and smiles.
"Oh we're headed to the studio. I have some stuff to work on and a song to record. Would you like to join us?" I ask.
"If you don't mind, I'd love to. Let me just gather my things." He says and heads to his booth. He grabs his things and we head to my car. After strapping s/n in, we get into the front.
"You didn't bring your car did you? If so, we can tell them that you're leaving it here for a while." I explain.
"Oh no. I live in an apartment close by so I usually just walk here." He says and I nod. We drive off to the studio making small talk with s/n butting in every once and a while.
Once we made it, we walked on in and went into the recording room in the far back. I usually pick that one since no one ever checks it and it's a little more quiet. I plop down into the chair and grab my notebook from my bag. I hand s/n his tablet and he sits in the seat next to me playing on it. Sugawara is in another seat next to me looking at the notebook.
"Do you have lyrics already written down?" He asks.
"Well, kind of. I wanted to record this song but I can't find a good beat for it." I say and start messing with the buttons to come up with something.
"Well here, how about you go sing as we record it, and while we are listening to the lyrics, we can figure something out. Sounds good?"
"Hmm, I guess that can work." I get up and go into the recording booth. I place the headphones on and tap my foot to give myself a beat.
"Here I am waking up
