Ashanti Farrah Belamour

"What now, Rhys?" I asked, raising my left brow.

He also raised a brow at me. "What now, Farrah?" He imitates me. "Did I tell you that I have a plan after that?"

I formed an 'o' when he told me that. "No, of course! I just thought that you would..." I couldn't continue my words.

"I would, what?" He asked, curiously. He let out a heavy sigh and blow it out. "Look, I don't want to ruin your relationship with Dylan-"

I cut him off. "No! I no longer have a relationship with Dylan,"

Nagsalubong ang kilay niya. "Even when you already knew that truth?" He suddenly asked when I was about to continue my words.

"Yes," I answered.

"You wouldn't give him another chance?"

I raised a brow when he asked me that kind of question. "Why would I?"

He also raised a brow, obviously, he was imitating my actions. "Because, he should? And, he deserves it?"

I take a deep breath and let it out. "I am not agreeing with your statement, Rhys." I stated and I almost roll my eyes.

"Oh.. why is that?" He asked, a smirk was plastered on his lips. "That guy really deserves it, what do you think-?"

"No, he would never deserve a second chance," I talked, seriously. "He had abandoned me. He abandoned me at a critical juncture in my life. He left me in pieces, shattered. So, what made you believe he deserved another chance?"

He became silent as a result. When I left a comment, he didn't even try to speak up. For a brief moment, he was deafeningly silent.

If your partner becomes a chronic liar, he clearly has not learned the lesson of guilt and remorse, and thus, is not deserving of a second chance.

"He made me believe in his words full of lies-"

He cut me off. "Farrah, you and Dylan need to talk about it again. You had a more extensive connection than we did. You two are still in with a chance. It is your choice whether you take it or leave it. Farrah, it will cost you everything."

"I had already made my mind, Rhys. I will stay with you, until my hair became white," I stated, I remained serious so he would believe in it.

"Do you believe in love at first sight?" I asked Rhysand as I stare at his face while eating our dinner.

He glanced at me when he heard my question. "Why do you ask?" He asked, curiously. His brows even met.

"Just answer it!"

He sighed as he stated his answer. "Even though some people don't believe in it, there's actually science behind the feeling of falling in love at first sight."

He looks at me like how he stares closely at the moon. I feel like I am his moon tonight, and even though, it's dark, I still gave him the light..

For personal reasons, that was a joke!

"Deep love may not exist yet when you first meet someone, but you may create the memory of falling in love later on, in your relationship." He stopped and sipped on his drinks. "Perhaps, that explains why I believed at love at first sight."

That made me amazed. He really took my question seriously. I felt like I was talking to a retired professor of love. What the heck was he when he was still a student?

"Does he became a humble philosopher when he was still a student?"

"You think too much," Rhysand stated. "I was not philosopher, Farrah,"

I scratched my eye brow. "Sorry, I was just joking in my mind..." I apologized as I pouted in front of him.

"In your mind, huh," He formed a smirk on his lips. "Stop making pa-cute in front of me. You don't look cute with your pout, tss."

I am teasing you, idiot!

"So, what do you call that pout thingy?" He asked sarcastically, there was still a smirk on his lips. "Should I call you a fish because you are still pouting?" He asked and burst out of laugh.

Ngumiwi naman ako sa ginawa niya. "Mukha bang nakikipagbiruan ako dito, Cervantes?" seryoso kong tanong.

He stopped laughing as he looked at my serious and intimidating look. "No, Miss Ma'am." He suddenly became a quiet puppy for a meantime.

He continued eating again until he was done and I was still had a food on my plate. I looked at it and realized that I lost my appetite.

"Eat it or else..." Nagpabitin pa siya.

I glared at him. "Or, else what?"

He let out an awkward smile and shook his head. "Nothing, Miss Ma'am." He answered respectfully.
