The Soldier Daughter

Prologue

This is the story of how the Astrals chooses the maiden as the Gifted Child In the main character of this story, named Alessia. And it starts, with the two nations. Once upon a time, through the centuries of the sacred magic of the divine crystal blessed their world and its people.

But in time the promise of its power brought lands into war. Lucis, a peaceful kingdom of great magic kept safe by the power of the crystal.

And Niflheim, a military empire of vast machinery made strong by the might of its magitek.

Long has war raged between the two. As the years passed, Niflheim marched on nearby nations driven by its unsurpassed technology. To defend itself, Lucis raised a magical wall the strength of which comes from the crystal itself. Insomnia alone, the crown city and last bastion of Lucian defense remained beyond Niflheim reach for many years. Amid the escalating war, King Regis had come to seek healing for his son caused by a grevious injury.

Insomnia and glaives and the Royalty of Tenebrae had all welcomed their celebration.

And that's how they met each other.

Alexander Anderson the Legendary Soldier and Adrastea Serena the Royal Retainer of Tenebrae.

While the Lucian and Tenebraen chat together Alexander caught someone into his eyes. A beautiful woman who takes care to Princess Lunafreya who guiding and support her as the next Oracle. He admired her how calm and collected she was and how she takes care to Lunafreya like as if she was own.

All of the sudden a fires came, everywhere and all at once. In a mere instant, the whole Tenebrae was ablaze.

A young man, looked around tragically of what happened. Then suddenly he felt something a bad scraped on to his arm. A heavy pain went through his body caused him to dropped down into his knees while holding his wound. Unaware, there is a magitek sauntered behind him.

A magitek aimed a fire to him as suddenly he heard a shout.

"Ravus!",
Alexander saw something in the corner of his eyes as he clearly saw the Queen was about to protect his son but he take the advantaged of it.

He ran towards then pushed the Queen so he will be the one to take painful fate instead of her. After he was burned he get stabbed by Drautos.

After the enraged war, a mysterious voice was heard where Alexander could only heard. He was mysteriously lift up in the air. Then felt a soft-clothed against his head. Shockingly, he felt his body was scanned healing not even a single scratched could he felt. And so, he opens his eyes, revealing a girl who admiring him so much it was Adrastea.

"I, uh....", he stuttered as he instantly stood causing Adrastea laughed to his shocking reaction.

Alexander cleared his throat and kept his cool composure.

"I'm Alexander from the Kingsglaive Soldier.", he introduced as he bowed to her formally as Adrastea stood up then clasped her hand together.

"I'm Adrastea, retainer of Tenebrae.", she formally introduced as she bowed to him in return.

He cracked up a smile a little as he chuckled nervously as he was like don't know how to socialize with her first. So they started chatting and share their interest each other.

As years fled, their friendship slowly turn into romantic affection. Alexander and Adrastea got married, and have a beautiful daughter name Alessia.
