She gazes up from the book, giving me a smirk.

—"Nerd."

"Says the woman who is reading it." I decide to engage in a casual conversation.

I see Richard's arm try to grab for mine, in urge to stop provoking the inmate behind the glass in front of me.

She intrigued me a little more than the others. Something about her seemed more mysterious.

Finally, she placed the book down, not leaving from the bed.

—"You seem to have no fear, Jauregui." Her lips curl up.

"Correction, I don't fear those like yourself. I fear things that we are destined to. We are born to only have 2 fears."

—"Falling and loud noises." She finishes off my sentence.

I raise my brows, this woman was some-what intelligent. The way she articulated her words, seemed to be rather knowledgeable.

She picks up her book, and continues reading, "You doubt me, Jauregui"

I frown, curious on her words, "What do you mean?"

She nods, "Right now you are doing an initial observation of my IQ level, taking note of the things I say and how I say it. I know what you are doing Jauregui, and right now you are most likely thinking that I am somewhat intelligent. But I can assure you..."

In a brief moment, she surveys my eyes, "I'm not that easy to read."

For some reason, I couldn't pinpoint any signs of any mental illness or neurological discrepancies.

This woman seemed to be everything but psychotic, but I won't let that thought disrupt any rationale to figure her out.

She will be harder to read, but I will get to the bottom of what haunts her mind...

She enticed me more than any other inmate did. I shook my head to rid of the unprofessional thoughts.

But what was she in here for?

The question that burned in my mind.

"Richard, what was this woman's arrest?"

The brunette continues to read Moby Dick as Richard speaks, "Murder with a dangerous weapon in a Federal facility"

My eyes widen softly, did she murder somebody here?

—"No, I didn't murder him here, Jauregui. It was at a Supreme Court, I killed Congressman Harvey."

My mind flashes back to many years ago, when the murder of Congressman Harvey was plastered on every social media, every American news channel and even mentioned in worldwide news. The single gunshot would that killed him instantly, in the middle of a Supreme Court hearing.

"That was you?" I asked curiously, instantly regretting my comment after it slipped out. It wasn't professional.

She never looked up from Moby, "I had my reasons."

"And your reasons were justified to kill a federal figure of the state?"

She simply nodded.

She left me in the lurch, I wanted to ask so many more questions to this mysterious woman who was supposedly the most dangerous inmate in this whole facility.

I just couldn't wrap my head around her, she just did not fit the descriptions we typically see in a case like hers.

I look at the inmate who's name I have not heard yet.
