I fell asleep in the bathtub for a few hours the water was freezing cold by the time I got out. I tried to force myself not to wear one of Jugs old T-shirts but I was unsuccessful. I'd put my pink fluffy robe on to. My phone goes off and I rush to see who's texted me. It was a text from my mom telling me that she'd be home later tonight. I sighed. I walked back down stairs to get myself a beer. Where would Jughead even go to school now? My thoughts are distracted by a loud knocking at my front door. I'm not expecting anybody but maybe Jughead decided to come back! I rushed towards the door and peeked my head out of the doorway to see a tall bearded man who definitely wasn't Jughead. "Umm can I help you?" I stuttered, mostly because I've never seen this man in my life before although I felt like I have. "I've been asking around and some people said that a kid named Jughead has been hanging out here is that true?" He says and raises his eyebrows at me. "Who exactly are you?" I hesitated. The smell of liquor was reflected off him and his eyes were puffy. "Doesn't matter, now tell me is jughead here?" He shouted. "No he's not. Never even heard of the kid." I lied. I began to shut the door but he put his foot in the doorway and allowed himself in. "Get the hell out!" I shrieked. He was looking around for something I'm not sure what through. "Get out before I call the police!" I yelled even louder. "Your not gonna do a damn thing!" He kicked the trash can. "Just shut the hell up!" He threw some papers off the kitchen counter. What if he finds out I lied about Jughead? Will he hurt me? I reached over to my purse while he's turned the other direction and pull my gun out, I kept the gun out in front of me and bit my lip to stop myself from crying. I snuck up behind him while he was still turned away from me I was a few steps behind him and I cocked the gun. And he turned around. "Woah! what the hell?" He startled. "Oh, are you gonna shoot me? What's your name blondie?" He mocked me. "Well it won't be my first time shooting somebody." I replied. "Sure." He rolled his eyes. "What do you even want from me?" I hissed. He just looked at me. "I want to know about Jughead." He calmly replied. "I don't know who that is! I wish I could help you but I can't." I looked at him and did my best to lie. "Are you gonna leave now? My mom will be home soon." I explain. "Yea." He sounded disappointed. I watched as he left the same way he came in. I've never seen him around before and Riverdale is a pretty small town. I noticed the man left on a motorbike across the street. I cleaned up after the mess he made so my mom wouldn't know. I had a pretty good feeling that he won't come back. What if he wanted to hurt Jughead? Archie and Veronica came in a few seconds after he left. "Betty!" They both said. "Thank god your okay." Veronica speaks. "What did that guy want?" Archie asks. "We saw him knocking on your door and he looked unfamiliar so we decided to watch through your windows we're sorry we just wanted to make sure you were okay." Veronica says placing her hands on mine. I didn't say anything I just got up and put the gun back in my purse then sat back down on the couch with Archie and Veronica. "He was asking about Jughead, he wanted to know if he lived here and he looked familiar but I'm sure I've never seen him. I'm just afraid he's trying to hurt Jughead." I sigh. "Maybe that's why he was in such a hurry to get out of town?" Archie suggested. "Archie give me your phone." I have to call Jughead and warn him. "Betty-" Archie warned. "Archie give me the phone." I demand. "Why doesn't Archie just call him and tell him?" Veronica asks. "Fine." I reply. Archie gets up and walks into the other room. I'm practically numb by now I barley have any emotions left to give. "Why don't we get a snack?" Veronica proposes. "Sure, my mom will be home later tonight."

Archies POV

I have to admit I am quite worried for Jughead, like who in the right mind leaves their girlfriend who he claimed to be madly in love with? Veronica told me everything that Betty claimed Jughead said and let me just say that's not the Jughead I know. I dial his number into my phone he didn't answer me I called him 8 times and left him a voice mail telling him it's urgent and to call me back as son and possible I also left a few text messages. I waited in the room for a few minutes to give him a chance to call back but he didn't so I started to walk back out to the girls but my phone started ringing. "Jughead?  "Archie what's going on? What was so urgent?" Jugheads voice sounded different like it was broken or something. "Uh- this dude came over to Bettys and was asking about you and he was like scaring the shit out of her so she pulled a gun on him then like five minutes later he left. He was asking if you lived here she told him no and she didn't even know who you are. He came in the house and was throwing and kicking things, she was crying and like just super freaked out and on edge. So I was just supposed to warn you about this dude." I explained to him. It took him a minute or two to reply. "What did he look like?" Jughead asks. "He was tall, big shoulders, dark hair and a short beard." I tried my best to remember what he looked like. "Oh and he was wearing all black and a leather jacket, he had a motorcycle to." I added.  "Shit." I heard Jughead curse. "Jughead do you know who he was?" I wondered. "I'm not positive but I've got a good idea. He shouldn't come back, call me if he does." He says.  "Jughead... are you okay? Like really okay?" I couldn't help but ask. "Depends who's asking." He replies. "Me, Jug I'm asking and I need to know." I say, meaning it. "Archie, I'm not gonna tell you I'm fine. I'm upset at myself for a lot of different reasons, I never wished to hurt Betty but I had to do what I did." Jugheads voice sounded like a voice that had been lost at the bottom of the sea. I can only imagine where he is right now. "Why'd you do it then?" I regretted the words as soon as they fell from my mouth. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." I apologized. "It's okay Archie I'm just glad we got to talk." Jughead says. "Jughead. Want me to tell you what that guy looked like exactly? Because he's here with a couple of other dudes! They just sitting out there watching the block." I blurted out. "Most of them have matching leather jackets on except the guy we saw like twenty minutes ago." I explained. "God damn it!" I heard him cuss. "Archie, take the girls up stairs and keep an eye on them but keep the curtains closed, lock the door to. Call me back if anything happens even if you see them move." His voice sounded panicked and angry. "Okay bro got it." I replied and hung up.
