"Gandalf!" I smiled as I walked up to the old wizard in a forest. He had sent a moth to me and asked to meet me in the forest near Huckleberry ferry.

"Ah Kiti," he smiled, "I have got a proposal." He grasped my shoulder.

"Gandalf," I sighed, "If you think the venture with that you are partaking in has not reached my ears, you are wrong."

"How did you hear about it?!" He looked shocked.

"Do not worry old friend!" I laughed, "You are not the only one who is friends with dear Bilbo ."

"He told you?!" Gandalf glanced back towards the East.

"You know I am the best at reading people. I forced him to tell me . Do not blame the hobbit," I smiled.

"Well what do you think about coming with us?" Gandalf said cheerfully.

"What is the proposal?" I looked at the sky. "I have not been with elves or humans or even dwarves for quiet sometime," I looked back to the old man.

"To reclaim a homeland," Gandalf said quietly. Even though it was plain, I knew exactly what he was speaking of. Erebor.

"I have seen the ruins of Dale and the dragon fly through the night sky. It would pain me not to come with you," I said. "I have met with some of the dwarves who were at Erebor during the time that Smaug came. I hope some of them will be there."

"Ah, so do I but it is unknown who will show," Gandalf nodded. "Meet at Bilbo's house an hour after sunset." Gandalf started to walk away. "I must leave you to find some of the dwarves. I fear their sense of direction is better underground than it is in the light."

I laughed and waved goodbye. I spent the day in the forest near Hobbiton. It was calm and full of light. There was no fear of being attack or ambushed by enemies. Friends and children were a completely different story.

As the sun started to sink, I laid in the middle of a meadow for a rest. 'The dwarves will no doubt keep me up most of the night,' I thought. Just as I started to doze off I heard shouts.

"Look it's Kiti! Kiti is back at Hobbiton!" There was a chorus of laughs and shouts. I sat up and looked around. Before I knew it, 5 little hobbits were surrounding me.

"Ah, Lily," I laughed as a little redhead girl jumped into my lap. "What are you doing here?" I smiled.

"My mother sent us out to get wood for the fire," Lily giggled.

"What are you doing here, Kiti?" An older boy asked. "We haven't seen you in a good long while."

"I am here to see Bilbo," I stood up and held Lily in my arms. "I better start up to Bag End before it gets too late."

"We better gather up some wood," the oldest boy took lily from my arms.

"Aw, but Lucifer can't we walk just to the old Gamgee place?" The children begged the boy.

"No, we have to get some wood," Lucifer shook his head.

"What if I help if you walk me to where we can see Bilbo's door?" I looked at Lucifer.

"Fine but I don't see how you can help us when we get to Bilbo's," the boy huffed.

We walked to and laughed. "Well I think this is far enough," I said just as Bilbo's green door was seen easily. "Thank you for your wonderful company and happy talk. Now for your wood," I waved my hand slightly and the tree over head shook violently, dropping all its drop all of its dead branches.

"Thank you Kiti!" They all called after me as I walked up to Bilbo's dainty house. I waved to them as I got to the door.
