The Beginning of A New Era

"Well, today class, we have a brand new student!" You hear someone say as you stand outside of the door, still nervous about getting into the classroom. It wasn't scary or anything. It was just because you were scared of embarrassing yourself or something like that. Such as falling down onto the floor the second you get into the room.

"Since this student is brand new, please treat them well! Lumine, as the class president, I'm counting on you to take care of them, okay?" You flinch as your eyes gaze towards the classroom door, wondering about this person named 'Lumine'. 

"Of course!" They happily say, having a tone of great enthusiasm. You sigh, slightly relieved that they didn't have any sort of harsh feelings about it. Well, the teacher sounded nice as well so, you were relieved about that too. You were kind of worried about having to deal with some mean teacher that'll make you worry about getting bad grades for just dropping your pencil or something stupid like that.

"Great! Now, come on in, (y/n)!" You hear the teacher say as she seemed to be smiling at the door. You breathe in, and breathe out, hoping to be presentable and nice, not having any reason to be judged at all. If there's one thing you hate, it's demeaning comments. You open the door gently, not wanting to get anyone's attention but, by the time you look forward, everyone was staring at nothing but you.

"Good Morning, everyone... My name is (y/n). I hope I can get along with all of you!" You say after walking towards the middle of the front of the classroom. Your heart was beating rapidly, hands were shaking but, it's certainly not enough to make you slip up and do something embarrassing. The teacher smiles at you as everyone else does.

"You can sit beside Aether in the back. Oh, Aether, while you're at it, show them around the school please." The teacher says, looking at a boy who was minding his own business, sitting comfortably in the middle of the room. This... Aether, person really resembled Lumine. You call yourself dumb in your head, realizing that they're probably twins and you're just unware since you're new.

"Yes, yes..." He says, sighing afterwards. He looked nice and comforting but, seems like he was tired. You observe him as you walk up to the chair beside him. His hair is medium cut with choppy bangs and a long, braided ponytail, tied with a tasseled band. For a boy, he was... pretty. You sigh, feeling defeated as you sit down at the seat you were assigned in. You then glance at him.

"H-hi! Nice to meet you." You smile, a little bit nervous of being ignored but, he happily faced your direction and smiled back. You feel yourself get relaxed, relieved about nothing embarrassing happening so far.

"Nice to meet you too, (y/n)." He says, seemingly comfortable with everything so far. You wonder if he's been a student here for a long time or not. Since, you were practically sure that no new students would ever act this reserved in such a magnificent school.
