"What... the fuck is wrong with you this time?" A young man's voice could be heard mumbling as the people in the cafe were numerous enough to cover such minimalistic sounds. You see him sit down in front of you, sighing as he made himself comfortable by putting his bag down to his side.
"Huh? What are you talking about?" You ask, a little confused. He then stares at you with a look that says "Really?" Still, you don't know what he was on about. This person was one of the friends you made in one of the schools in Inazuma. Apparently, he was also in the same situation as you.
Always moving cities, regions, just to find a better school and when you two met, you got along immediately. His sour and foul attitude is something that was normal to you, but possibly rude to everyone else. You've been with him long enough to know that he was just a little too prideful to admit his true feelings and thoughts. If, and only if, he got sweeter, this world would die of diabetes.
He was a man with a slender figure, a handsome face but could be looked at as adorable, as he also had a youthful appearance. His name was Scaramouche. A little alias he uses at times but, you just didn't have it in you to actually ask why he was doing so. Maybe some past trauma but, this is fine right now.
"Can't you see that dumb face you're making right now?" He asks, sipping on the straw leading to his coffee that he bought right before approaching you. The sunlight piercing through the windows of the cafe made him occasionally squint or block it with his hands.
"Does it really look that dumb?" You ask. Well, you probably did. You never really looked at the mirror since you didn't see any point in it but, if he says that then you probably look really dumb. After experiencing what just happened last time you and Miko met, who wouldn't be astounded?
"Totally. Now tell me, what's gotten you so happy this time?" He asks, setting his coffee down on the table before he looks at you with a sly smile. You get a little flustered in just remembering the moments that passed. That beautiful smile glimmering at you, you were still taking it all in.
"Nothing much. Am I normally not that happy to you?" You ask, casually avoiding that topic since you can't even put it into words. You don't know how to feel about it, let alone talk about it.
"You are. It pales in comparison to now, though." He says, sipping on his coffee once again. Still glancing at you, seemingly interested in your answer, meaning that he wasn't going to let it pass by at all.
"...I made someone I love happy. That's all I can say." You answer his question, super vague but you gave an answer at least. He then sits back, smirking at you.
