Chapter Thirteen:

Harry

Holy Mary, mother of Jesus.

I felt so awful the next morning. My head was spinning and my throat was so, so dry. Waking up before 5 AM also didn't help.

Falling asleep last night was one of the easiest times I've ever had when trying to fall asleep. I vaguely remembered hearing Clara humming the tune to Fly me to the moon again. I am going to say that Clara is so comfy. I didn't know what I was going to do without her in my bed when we got to separate rooms.

I felt Clara gently shaking me awake from underneath me. She was whispering in my ear, faintly. "Harry, Harry, baby. You have to wake up now." She was pushing her fingers through my hair and brushing it out of my face.

I nuzzled my face further into her body and grumbled a 'no.'

"H, we have to get ready to leave. Think about all the adventures we are going to go on." Even though I was mostly asleep I could tell she was smiling when she said that. "And, I need you to get up so I can get up."

Reluctantly, I rolled off her body, immediately feeling the loss of contact. I reached my arm out to trap her against the bed before she could get out.

"Look, it was cute to start with but now it's not. I let you lie on me all night and now the lower half of my body is severely numb, it's getting concerning. I need you to get up and get dressed so we can leave on time." She lowered her face to mine. "We do not need Gio getting mad." She placed a kiss on my cheek and she looked me dead in the eyes.

When I didn't move, she took it upon herself to roll me off the bed, making me land dead on the floor on my ass with a groan.

"Ughh. Okay, okay, I'm up." I pushed myself off the floor a bit too quickly because when I stood up a wave of nausea hit me.

"That is what you get for smoking almost a whole blunt to yourself, the night before a whole day of travelling." Clara let out a groan of relief as she stretched out her body limbs.

"Fuck me that feels good." She moaned.

"Now, all of me is awake, thank you for that!" I placed my head back on the ground

"Get up lazy bum." Clara grabbed one of the t-shirts that were lying on her floor and whipped me on the tummy with it.

Once I had found the energy to get up, much to Clara's distaste wasn't straight away. I may have partly fallen asleep again on the floor. I got myself changed into a pair of grey joggers and a random jumper that I pulled out of my suitcase. I raked my fingers through my hair to tame it slightly.

"It's too early for this." I groaned, rubbing my eyes with the palm of my hands.

"I know, babe but you need to get on with it. I'm going to make sure everyone is awake and I want you up and ready for when I come back into this room."

"Ooh, assertive, that's hot." Clara raised her eyebrows at my lack of reply. "Yes, okay, fine I'll be ready."

Clara walked out the room, leaving the door open behind her. I heard her knocking on doors and shouting through the house, making sure that everybody was awake. I watched Liam and Niall walk past and say something to each other at the top of the stairs. Niall nodded and kept a straight face, taking a brown package from Liam's hands.

Reluctantly, I pushed myself off the bed as I collected my now dead phone and shoved the bits and pieces that I had pulled out back into my suitcase. I did have to pry the suitcase shut a bit. It's always weird how when you pack something at the start of a trip, for example, everything fits but when you go to pack everything back in at the end of said trip, nothing seems to fit. Is that just the excitement at the start making it fit and the disappointment of going home make it not or is it something else?
