Chapter 9

Y/n Pov

Happily skipping while juggling my sword in the dungeon beside Ais and Riveria.

Riveria:"We're in the dungeon please be on guard."

"Oh I am."

I say as I chuck my sword to a minotaur that just appear caving its head in killing it.

"Hey Riveria you're smart right?"

Riveria:"Yes why do you ask?"

"What happens if someone goes into the red portals on the other side of the dungeon walls the monsters come through?"

Riveria:"I'm not entriely sure, but you are not finding out."

"Got it!"

I happily skip to my sword and pick it up as we continue on.

"I forgot to ask why are we here exactly?"

Riveria:"Ais and I are going to the lower floors. We will take you to the eighteenth floor but thats as low as you go got it."

"Yes Vice Captain!"

Riveria:"Goliath has been defeated so he shouldn't be a problem. Ais and I should be back by the end of the day, so after a couple hours go back to the 18th floor."

"I understand. I wont die either."

Riveria:"Good. Minotaurs can be found on floors 15-17. Dont cause trouble for other adventurers you encounter."

After we got to the 18th floor Riveria showed me where her and Ais would meet back up with me and after confirming everything again we seperated. I headed up to the 16th floor looking for something to fight.

As im passing through the 17th floor monsters, specifically minotaurs, start to come out of the walls.

"Well looks like you came to me, and in force."

Theirs about 6 minotaurs in total.

The first one charges me as it get in range I grab its horns and twist its head sideways breaking its neck killing it.

I run towards the second one and jump on its shoulders, it tries to grab me but I stomp its head in with my foot killing it.

A third one tries to hit me only for me to jump ontop of its arm which I grab and use to bring him over my head and slam him into the ground. I stomp its head in aswell finishing it off.

A fourth and fifth one get on either side of me. I turn to the one on the right and run towards it and hear the one from the left running at me, when its behind me I jump over it dodging a punch from it, I wrap my legs around its neck, pick it up into the air and slam it head first into the ground killing it.

The fifth one runs at me and lands a punch to my side making me fly back a few feet before being able to recover and stop myself. I look towards it and rush it throwing a punch to its side with it blocking the hit, while its vision is blocked by its arm I kick it in its side making it grunt and hearing a crack. It then flings me back and roars as it charges at me. I jump over the charge and axe kick it in its head killing it.

I turn to the sixth, who I now notice is bigger and a has white fur and horns instead of brown fur and black horns. Its horns were also curved.

We start circling each other looking for an opening. It get impaitent and throws a downword punch at me which I dodge making it hit the ground cracking it.

'Dont get hit noted.'

I kick it in the side of the head making its head toss to the right. It grabs my legs and slams me on the ground. I kick it in its chest after freeing my leg from its grasp and get some distance from it. I stare at it as I stomp my left leg on the ground seeing if its ok or not.
