Chapter 02: Virginity

Narrator's POV

Camila stepped into the house with a half-empty bottle of water in her left hand. It was still early, at eight o'clock in the morning. She finished her water and went upstairs. She went to the kitchen, which was on the third floor of their house.

"Good morning, Mama Yo!" Camila greeted Yolanda, her master, her adoptive mother.

"Good morning, Mila!" Yolanda was cheerfully greeting her first daughter back. They would call each other by their human name when they were not in their mutant form. Yolanda looked at Camila, who was wearing a training suit. "How's the training?"

"It's good." Camila always woke up early morning. She would go for a run and end up in the wood to train and meditate. If she did not want to go out, she would do the training at home as they got the training or gym room. "I'll take a shower and be back for breakfast," Camila said.

"Yes, please ask Normani to come down for breakfast." Yolanda just came back from getting the groceries. She was going to make breakfast for all of them.

"Okay." Camila went to her room on the fourth floor, where she shared the same floor with Yolanda. Lauren, Normani, and Dinah's bedrooms were on the fifth floor.

Fifteen minutes later, Camila came down to rejoin Yolanda, "Mani is not in her room. She's probably out with Dinah." Camila left early morning when four others were still sleeping.

"With Dinah?" Yolanda was a little bit surprised as Dinah loved a crowd and Normani avoided it.

Camila chuckled, "Yes, last night Dinah was urging her to come with her."

"Oh, she needs that." Yolanda would love to see Normani socialize a bit more.

"Mani would just sit by the bench and be busy with her laptop instead of watching Dinah plays." Camila pursed her lips.

"Yes, at least she's out. Not twenty-four hours in her room." Yolanda was a bit exaggerated. Normani loved to spend time in her room, but she still went out. "Is Lauren home?"

"No, it's Sunday morning," Camila said knowing where Lauren would be on Sunday morning.

"Lauren..." Ally sighed. "Hope she won't break another nose." Lauren was always involved in a fight from time to time. It was not that she was looking for one. Those losers just always created the problem and angered her.

Camila was looking at Ally and drinking her juice. "She'll be fine."

"Yes, she has to learn to control her anger," Yolanda said. "But she is such a sweet talker when she is in her best mood."

Camila chuckled. Lauren easily got angry. If she hit the wrong person or did or say something wrong, she would apologize after that. Most of the time, she got her way because she was genuine and could be so charming and lovable when she apologized. "Yes, she is,"

"No wonder she is popular with the girls," Yolanda said. Many girls fell for Lauren. They all knew about it. She was still seeing Rosalía until now. Their relationship was on and off for two years. Dinah did not have a girlfriend or a boyfriend., but she dated casually. "Yeah..." Camila looked at her.

"How about you, Mila? Does anyone catch your eyes?" It was the first time, Yolanda asked them or Camila about this. Yolanda had not talked about a romantic relationship with her daughters.
