Narrator's POV
Camila woke up and looked at Lauren was sleeping next to her. She took her time to study and enjoy Lauren's angelic face. Camila smiled and slowly moved closer and looked at Lauren, who was still sleeping sound and safe. She knew she had made the right decision, to listen to Lauren, listen to her heart, to try and even make love to Lauren. She felt happy and loved. Another level of happiness and being loved she never felt before.
After admiring Lauren's face for a while, she remembered Yolanda. She turned around to get her phone from the nightstand. Camila checked it, but there was nothing. It was strange. Yolanda might be sleeping in the middle of the night, but it was strange when she had not woken up by this time. It was seven in the morning. Camila missed her morning routine: meditating and training, but she did not regret it. She woke up and went to take shower.
When Camila was out of the bathroom, Lauren already woke up, too. She smiled when she saw Camila was out of the bathroom.
"Good morning!" Camila greeted Lauren. They shared a loving look.
"Good morning, babe!" Lauren said. Lauren got out of bed.
She wanted to kiss Camila, but Camila pushed her away playfully, "go and take a shower!"
"I love you!" Lauren said, but Camila lost her words for a seconds, and replied "take a shower!"
Lauren was a bit disappointed. She pouted, "Okay." She smiled. She stole a quick kiss on Camila's cheek before she left Camila's room for her bedroom.
In the other bedroom, Normani and Dinah woke up earlier, even before Camila. They had morning sex before they took a shower for another sex under the sower. Lauren surely heard it as she shared the same floor with them. She wondered if Dinah and Normani heard them last night since Camila was loud enough. She also wondered if they could still make love if Yolanda was home. Lauren started to think about what the next was. Should four of them tell Yolanda?
Camila, Lauren, Normani, and Dinah met in the kitchen. They had breakfast together before heading out for college. It was a peaceful morning. They did not talk much, but they enjoyed each other's presence. Normani and Dinah noticed there was no tension between Camila and Lauren. Meanwhile, Camila and Lauren noticed the lovely connection between Dinah and Normani. They had their breakfast peacefully until Camila received a message.
Camila took her phone, and she cursed, "Fuck!"
Lauren, Dinah, and Normani spontaneously stopped what they were doing and looked in Camila's way. They knew when Camila cursed it was not a good sign.
"Camz!" Lauren called Camila, who still looking at her phone.
"Mila?!" Dinah and Normani also turned worried.
"Mama Yo!" Camila looked at them. She showed them the picture and message. It was from an unknown number.
"What?" Lauren was shocked.
"No!!" Dinah exclaimed.
"How did she get Mama Yo?"
The message was written that Splinter was in her hand. She could kill her anytime, but she wanted the mutant ninja turtles to surrender. She also told them she would call them again to instruct them on the next move.
Camila's intuition was right last night.
"How dare she?" Dinah said.
"What's our plan?" Normani asked.
