'You can always stay.'

It was the kind of comfort he needed in that moment, and so, he rushed to his 'friend's' place.

Dream pushed the notebook against George's chest, who was standing on the front door porch. 'You sounded terrified, it made me worry. ' He raised his eyebrow as he read the words, tilting his head slightly. "Oh yeah?" George scoffed at his sight, "That's cute."

Dream's eyes seemed to be glued to George's face and before he knew it, his own face was covered with blush. It wasn't something that he could control, it just happened.

Dream pointed to the stairs and signed for George to follow him. George's eyes widened as soon as he entered the bedroom. There were a lot of drawings, almost ever wall seemed to be covered with it.

"Woah, your room is-" George paused and took a second to observe his surroundings, "...amazing." A few papers are sticked to the door, posters of bands and books, everywhere. His king size bed is messy, and the overdose of blankets makes it look comfortable.

They both sat down on the bed as a silence over powered them. George grabbed his backpack and showed Dream the different colors of nail polish. "I saw you looking at my nails the day we met, so I figured you might want it too."

"Would you like that?" George asked, earning a nod from Dream. He settled down on the ground while Dream handed him the other side of his earpod, playing some music to break the tension. After the blonde chose the colors, George took Dream's hand and started painting his nails green and black.

He reached over for the top coat, knocking over a black nail polish bottle. "I'm so sorry- I didn't mean to spill it." George curses under his breath, trying to rub it out of the carpet.

The blonde smiles and writes on the wall, 'it's okay!'. He took George's hand to stop him from trying to get it out.

Dream quickly let go again, his pulse rising as he accidentally locked eyes with George, who reached for his bag.

"Could I put on an eyeliner" George smiled and stepped closer, "...on you?"

Dream frowns, It was a random thing to ask and he had never expected himself to agree, but before he knew it, he had given in with a nod.

It was just this sensation. A feeling that whatever George was planning on doing, it would be alright.

George guides him to sit on the bed and leans over him. The blonde hesitates for a moment but decided to support George's back by wrapping his arms around him.

George inched forward, ready to sit on his lap if that made it easier to reach his face. But he simply didn't want to make Dream uncomfortable.

"Tilt your head and let me see how handsome you are." George chuckled once he was done. Dream looks up at him, making George smile, "It's perfect."

"Clay! Come here for a second" His mother yelled from the living room. 'Wait here.' Dream quickly wrote on the wall before leaving the room and heading downstairs.

"I'm going. I left money on the kitchen table. I'll be back in a few days." His mother announced while gathering her bags. She took a quick break to glance up at her son. "You look stunning, that eyeliner really brings out your eyes."

"I could also buy you some more-" She smiled and stepped closer to take a better look at her son. 'Mom!' Dream wrote and rolled his eyes in annoyance. But deep down, he kinda appreciate his mother for the support.

"Oh yes, sorry." A delightful chuckle escaped the woman's mouth. "Will you be alright? You're all alone so don't forget to lock the doors."

'What? George is upstairs, I'm not 'all alone' Dream wrote on the wall, making his mother sigh in disbelief. "Not on the wall, Clay." She paused and took a moment to read it, "Who?"
