Carli flashback 3days before prank

Shay pov

I just got done with my gym session so I make my way to the ice bath at the hotel when I see Carli sat down crying without hesitation I went over and hugged Carli as she cried into my neck while I rubbed her back waiting for her to calm down once she does she asked me to text hope to meet us down at the spa of the hotel she said she is on her way so I stayed there and hugged her while we awaited hope.

After ten minutes hope finally arrived so I explain what I saw as we wait for Carli to get her thoughts in order enough to let us know what's wrong, Carli exhaled deeply before talking "Brain has just asked for a divorce he said he knows I'm in love with someone else, he said that he believes I would never cheat so he is setting me free so I can be happy" i look shocked while hope give a small smile to Carli taking her hand gently before encouraging her to do as brain said " he is right Carlos you should tell kelley you are in love with her and that you have had feelings for her for years now, you wont regret it" Carli crys even more saying she cant lose her friendship with kelley as she would never feel the same. I want to tell Carli that I've watched kelley looking longingly at her but it's not the right time to do yet she is hurting and wont believe it till she is ready to accept her own feelings first. After we calm Carli down we walk her to our room so we can help her come to terms with her end of her relationship.

Hope Pov

After two hours we got in touch with a lawyer who said they can annul the marriage as they have only been married six months so her lawyer and brains lawyer was going to go in front of a judge In 19hours to finalise everything Carli and brain get to keep what they brought in and get a house each they are handling it very well so far I guess cause there was still a lot of love between them even if it was just a friendship love now. "Hey hope, shay I want to thank-you both for everything you have both done today me and brain will always be family but he was right we are no longer in love with each other we both agreed that we got married because we didnt want to hurt each other it was just the next step one we shouldn't have taken but he will always be my best friend no matter what" me and shay hugged Carli when she decided she was gonna go meet up with Ash and Tobs to leave me and Carli to have a girls day. After she left Carli keeps questioning me about if I'm ever gonna tell shay how I feel I stare at her before sighing "I cant I'm not gonna risk my heart again not after Jeremy I cant even they she is nothing like how I first saw her I cant risk being broken again" Carli hugs me "it will be okay hope I'm not gonna push you and I would be a hypocrite cause i can't tell kelley how I feel either" after that we jump into my bed and watch films until dinner time when shay gets back we all leave the room and head off to dinner. I watch Carli keep glancing at kelley throughout dinner I had to help her get her girl them maybe i will get my own but probably not she can do better than me so i will just want her from afar.
