Shay's pov

After last night I'm sore all over hope wore me out hard I dont regret a second of it it seems like everytime we do anything together it's like our first time she really is the best of me I'm so glad we took a chance on each other I roll over in bed and watch her sleep she looks so peaceful as I'm watching her my heart skips a beat and i know then and there that my life will never be the same again she makes me see the world so differently my little crush on hope solo change fast from just a crush to madly deeply in love with her I'm not sure the moment it changed for all I know it could have been love at first sight but I'm not sure after 20mins of shamelessly watching her sleep i hope out of bed jump in the shower while thinking of hope I cant help but to sing

After I finish singing I feel arms wrap around my waist as hope kisses my shoulder blades "mmm morning baby I love it when you sing it makes my day" turning around slightly to peck her lips "morning love if my singing makes your day I'm going to sing to you everyday" that makes her beam a bright smile after me we finish up we get dressed then leave the room for breakfast.

Hope's pov

After breakfast we have a quick meeting then we all decide what we want to do today after much discussion we decided to have a fun tournament so we split in teams I'm Captain of the good girls and Shay is Captain of the rebel girls after Jill and Dawn make sure the teams are even they go over what we have to do first we have a team relay of a mini triathlon four people from each team will be picked the winner of all four races will get 10 points lose will get 5 points then the winner overall gets 50 points loser gets 30 once we break off into our groups for the first challenge to pick who the first 4 people will be as team captain that's up to me " Alex Chris Carli and Mal you will do this one cause I know shay she will pick herself tobin kelley and pinoe she will want to win Mal you go against Shay she won't want to beat you to bad so she will keep on your pace so as you come up to the last sprint look like you are struggling she will slow slightly then let her have it zoom passed her and win cause I don't wanna lose either she will never let it go if she wins" everyone looks shocked at what I just said Alex breaks out of it first "Damm hope that cold I love it"
We all laugh at what Alex has said then Jill makes us break our huddles and follow her to the pool
"Right this is an Olympic size pool I want you to do 1 length there one back the bikes are the other side of the pool ride around the outside of the field on the track 4 times then when it's time to run put your bikes and run 8 times around the track me and Dawn will watch a team each and score you our word is final so shay who is first for your team" shay nods her head and tobin steps forward "hope who's first for you" looking over chris gives me a little nod to say she will "that will be chris" tobin smirks at chris as they make back from the locker rooms wearing shorts and a bikini top they line up by the pool Jill blows her whistle both tobin and chris dive in they are neck and neck all the way till the end where tobin gets to the end first she jumps out runs to the bike just as she gets on chris jumps on peddling away fast tobin not far behind her after 4 laps chris gets her bike back first and starts off running not even 5 seconds later tobin is running along side her coming into the final stretch tobin nips chris to the finish line by a foot I can't even be mad about that " right after the first round tobin got 25 and chris gets 15 who is next " shay stands forward so does Mal they both ready they stand by the pool Jill blows her whistle they both dive in like expected shay doesn't try to hard against Mal she just beats her then they both peddle off on the bikes with Mal finishing first by a bike wheel they both take off running shay not running fast at all as they come into the last bit Mal struggles like planned and shay slowed down when they get to the last hundred yards Mal speed up going as fast as she can as does shay I don't even know who has won they make there way back over with Dawn and Jill "okay points shay 10 for swimming Mal 5 then bike riding Mal 10 and shay 5 then for the running I don't even know how but both feet crossed the line at the same time so you both won so both get the 10 points so 25 points each so far that's 50 for shay and 40 for hope's team" now carli and kelley go together carli wins the swimming and bike kelly wins the running so after that we are drawing 65 a piece now it's down to Alex and pinoe after that was finished pinoe won swimming both finished first on the bikes and alex beat pinoe by a lot on the running so they both got 25 so that leaves us both with 90 "okay so I said the winner overall gets 50 points but you both got 90 so that's 140 for both teams pick 5 players from you team you won't find out what the next challenge is until after you have picked that should break up points a bit"

Shay's pov

Another 4 challenges later and my team just manges to beat hope's team by 10 points after we clear everything up we decide to have a chill out evening so after dinner we will all grab out blankets and go to the conference room to watch films and have a movie and games night as we will have a intense training session tomorrow in the run up to the world Cup, me personally can't wait for the send off series it will be my first proper welcome coming into a big competition on our next day off Dann and some of the Arsenal girls want to go shopping with hope and a few of the national team girls while me tobs Ash and jords are gonna go skateboarding.

Laying here watching this movie well I say watching the movie my eyes are fully focused on hope wondering how I fell so fast so deeply for this wonderful woman that I want to spend forever with.
While hope is focused on the film I message Dann "hey is it to soon to ask hope to move in with me" I wait for Dann's reply "Shay are you leaving Arsenal" crap I remember nobody knows Hope is gonna be a player with us " what no of course not I mean when we are both on our off season" God I'm a idiot let's hope she believes that "Oh thank god I couldn't copy with my bestie running away and leaving me all alone. Before I saw you and hope together I would have said yes its well to soon but after seeing you both together all I'm gonna say is when the time comes I'm maid of honour" my eyes bulge at seeing that "well yes you will be but we are not anywhere near there yet" After I've calmed down from my shock I know that one day I will ask her to marry me "I know not right now but I don't think it will be to long you are ment to be" After chating to Dann for a little while longer the film finishes and hope has fallen asleep on me I move her slightly so I can lift her to take her to bed once I've said night to the girls we make it upstairs I put hope in a pair of my shorts and leave her sports bra on I'm wearing the same I check the alarm kiss hope's head jump in bed next to her ready for training tomorrow
