Shay's pov

Following the Refs we make our way to the pitch to line up for the Anthems once the Anthems have finished we do the coin toss we won, Rachel keeps staring at me it's annoying me but I won't let it show won't give that bitch the satisfaction. As me and Alex stand in centre circle I look over at Telford in goal Leah catches my line of sight and shouts something then I see Carly walk back into the Goal so I can't take a halfway line short like last match Leah catches my raised eyebrow at her and smirks I shake my head. Alex kicks the ball to me I knock it back to Juile who passes it up to the wing for tobin who runs towards the Flag for a cross as me Alex Carli crash the box waiting for the ball it flies to me just as I'm about to volley it home Leah come out of nowhere and clears it up field she laughs and claps me on the back to snap me out of my shock steph who see's this laughs at my stunned face "Shay you should have know Leah would read that" I nod smile at her and run back up field I see Rachel with the ball so I run and slide tackle to away from her as the ball falls to Kelley as Daley dramatically falls on the floor shaking my head covering my mouth so people can't read my lips "get up and play the game without impersonating a fish" at that she jumps up trying to gey in my face as the ref gives her a warning for diving I look over at hope who glares hard at the back of Daley's hope looks at me and smiles the game gets underway again we get a free kick I take it we are 42yards out I call kelley over to me to pass on a message to Becky for me she whispers to becky so no-one can see I watch as the England Team and my team all settle around the near post and the centre knowing its well with in my range to shoot from here so while they have everywhere but the back post covered where becky slowly makes her way to without anyone marking her the whistle blows as I cross the ball in as everything goes in slow motion Telford Daley and Leah try to track back to the far post but quick enough as Beckys head makes contact with the ball as it swishes in the net all our teammates run at Reba as she runs to me and jumps in my arms happy she finally scored her first goal.

The Half ends 1-0 we get back out for the second half it got very choppy so we had to make make all of our subs one for a yellow card on Julie she was putting in some hard tackles we couldn't risk her getting a red so Hao come on for her then Alex had a slight knock so Christen come in for her Abby went off and Ali come on due to cramp now we had 40mins with no subs and England playing very aggressively I hope no-one else gets hurt.

England make a run down the wing everyone tracks back to try and break up the play Jords Crosses the ball In just as hope jumps to grab the ball Daley shoulder checks her into the goal post hope drops the ball in pain steph knocks the ball out of play so hope can be seen my the trainers everyone leaves the box but me and the trainers and ref I kneel down next to hope "are you okay" she grimaces in pain when the trainer lifts her shoulder up "if I can't lift my arm I can't play in goal we have no subs left" I look over to the bench before making my way over to the ref to ask permission for something really crazy " hey we have no subs hope can't save the ball if I ask Jill to swap me to goalkeeper swap shirts with hope can she carry out the match as a midfielder, she looks at Me for a second "your coach will need to clear it with me but if she is fine with this I have no problem nodding I make my way over to Jill after I explain what I asked she laughs agrees tells the ref that's what she wants then tells me i have to tell hope I give her a curt nod and make my way over to my girlfriend "hey I'm gonna finish out the game as keeper and you are now a midfielder" she stares at me shocked before standing up taking off her gloves the crowd cheers for her we both take our jerseys off I put hers on she puts mine on I guess everyone thinks hope's coming off I can't help but laugh as she makes her way over to midfielder much to everyones shock I laugh as the trainers help me put my gloves on.

Hope's pov

I didn't know what to think when shay went up to the ref I thought she was going to argue that Daley should get more than a yellow card didnt expect her to rearrange the team so we could still keep all players on pitch not sure how I feel about this but I know how good she is In goal so I'm not to worried
The game get back under way shay takes the free kick passing it to tobin on the wing who passes back to me when she become trapped I see Christen making a run even though I'm close enough to shoot not confident enough in this new role I chip it over leah to Christen who makes easy work of slotting it in the goal after celebrating England kick off making their way to the goal ellen white takes a shot top left 90 I watch as shay adjusts her footing reading the play quickly she times her jump and parries the ball away back into play she springs up quickly just as bronze smashes the ball at the goal shay punches it away as it bounces out it falls to Kirby who smashes it shay jumps up catches the ball runs to the top of the box's kicks it upfield it falls at carli's feet just outside the penalty box she turns her hips and fires passed a flat footed Telford to bring the score to 3-0 this game has been the weirdest game I've ever been apart off the game carries on for the last 10 mins we just pass the ball around looking for and opening I get the ball just as I pass it off to kelley on the wing someone takes out my feet with a cheap slid tackle I'm pissed I sat up look over at Daleys smirking face "shay is mine I will get her back even if she has a little crush on you I know you like the attention she is giving you but I know nothing will happen between you cause she is mine" now it's my turn to smirk "that's where you are wrong me and shay are very happily together" we both stand up me to ignore this bitch her to try get in my face the ref blows the whistle gives her a second yellow and a red and we get a free kick everyone makes their way downfield as shay agrees to take it as it on the line of our half the ref blows again and shay kicks it to Hao who launches it into the goal we all celebrate as the ref blows the whistle for full time.

Me and shay walk over to Jords Leah and Beth to catch up for a while before we make it in to the locker room so I can get my shoulder iced and checked out I know my shoulder is okay now but still needs to be checked and rested so I'm match fit and I know shay will want to talk about what rachel said to me after the tackled me as we both had our hands over our mouths to stop people reading our lips. We all get showered and changed then make our way to the coach my phone has been blowing up so I pull it out once me and shay sit in our seats so read what's been going on everyone is going crazy over mine and shay's relationship as our interaction in the tunnel was deffo caught on camera I show shay the pictures that was shared of us she laughed saved one sent it to herself set it as her wall paper I will say it's a really cute picture I'm holding her hand and we are both staring into each others eyes with nothing but love I smile set it as my lockscreen aswell lay my head on her as she kisses my temple I close my eyes and sleep for the rest of the journey.
