Hope has been trying to calm me down for two days I'm nervous for my first us match I'm glad its against england as long as I dont pass to leah or jords there shouldn't be much of a problem.

I look around the room everyones jaw is on the floor I stand up and kiss her so hard and deeply that we become breathless because as she sung that song I could feel she ment every word I've never loved her more than I do in this moment.

Shay's pov

It's now time for the game I've been bouncing off the walls all day I'm lined up in the starting line up as the national anthems play then before I'm ready its kick off I'm standing in the centre with Christen I notice Mary earps off her line i know i can make that shot "hey chris look at the keeper when the whistle blows tap the ball to me I'm gonna do something dumb" Chris subtlety looks over and gives me a unsure nod
Then it all happens so quick the whistle chris tapping me the ball me planting my laces through it then there is silence as the whole stadium wait to find out if that's going in there keeper doesn't look to worried but I see leah tracking knowing how many times I've done this for Arsenal but there is no point as the keeper was caught flat footed and the ball flies into the top 90 lift hand side I look up at the tv screen to see I scored in 2seconds fastest goal I think.
Carli and chris jump on my as the stadium erupts in cheers our bench is up screeming in celebration with me I catch hope eyes she gives me a proud smile it's the first time I've ever seen emotion that isn't stoic from her on the pitch England kick back off it's all a whirlwind next thing I know the full time whistle has blown we won 8-2 I scored a hattrick and I assisted carli Alex and Chris, with tobin scoring and Alex getting a second, we are all celebrating on the pitch hope hugs me and tells me she is proud I'm so happy plus hope said this morning I get a treat if I score today so I can't wait for whatever that is honestly I couldn't imagine a better welcome to international soccer than that.
