Hope's pov

After having some fun in the shower we get ready for team breakfast then head downstairs where everyone is talking about what they are gonna do on there off day most want to go shopping when it gets to shay and me we tell them we are going to the beach with some of the Arsenal girls that makes Carli and kelley change their mind about going shopping and decide to join me shay Ash Tobs Ali chris and alex at the beach, after breakfast we all leave to pack up stuff for the beach deciding we will meet in the lobby with Dann leah jordan and viv.

After thirty minutes everyone going to the beach met in the lobby when shay pulls me to oneside
"Hope I know the team know we are together I was just wondering how you want to be in public whatever you decide I'm okay with so how do you want to play it" smiling at her thoughtfulness I kiss her cheek " when i said I'm all in i mean it" she laughs at me "you are using my own words against me" she laughs as we both reach out to hold each other's hands as we all leave the lobby. Walking for 10 minutes ash slows down to step inline with shay and me "you guys do know your holding hands in public" at the same time me and shay say "we know" that gets everyone's attention Dann smiles at me I give her an appreciate nod, sometime later we get to the beach we all find a nice spot to sit and chill out then shay Ash tobs kelley and jordan bug me Ali alex chris Carli and leah to let them either surf or take out jetski's once we all agree shay gives me a kiss then runs off to rent a surfboard. Watching them mess around in the sea while we are all talking, noticing dann moves round to sit next to me well I guess this is where the interrogation comes in that shay is so panicked about "hope I wanna thank-you this is the happiest I've ever seen her even more so than when she is on the pitch with a ball at her feet, she has been through alot I'm glad she has you but have you thought about the long distance of this she is coming back to london" I smile at her and pull up my phone contact for her to put her number in when she does I send about joining Arsenal "that's great but when did you do that" I laugh because I know why she is asking "before about a month before i met her then told her when we decided to see each other so it's been nearly three months since i signed it will be official after the world cup" she nodded we get to know each other better "please dont hurt her she has been through alot it's not my place to say anything but she will open up about it eventually" I smile "I know everything she already told me her life story and all about SnD about you both being friends with benefits?" She looks stunned "wow it me ages to get her to open up to me, you dont seem jealous about my relationship or history with shay can I ask why" given a curt nod "you helped her heal you saved her life I cant be jealous of you and wont be you made it possible for us to be together your help shaped someone I love more than anything so I can only love all you guys have and had between you it's as simple as that really" she laughs "hope solo really is only a persona isn't it you are nothing like you are shown to be; you know at first I was a little worried about your guy relationship because of all she has been through and how you are presived I'm sorry for thinking it but I'm so happy I was wrong Jodi Taylor said you wasnt anything like what the media said I'm happy you have each other" laughing "the truth is while I'm not like that I did turn into that to save my heart from being broken but shay made it impossible to stay away from she smashed down every wall I built up around myself quicker than I ever want to admit its funny when she first turned up I thought she was cocky I didnt like her from the moment she introduced herself until maybe half an hour later when I found out she was my roommate I wanted to test how big her ego was her words saddened after asking if she was any good she said I could have her answer or yours I said I'd take both then check her stats I was so shocked, a few weeks later i asked her about it she said you had just told her to fake her confidence until she makes it the truth is I'm eternally grateful for you" dann wipes her tears takes a deep breath "I never knew until this minute how in love with her you are I'm honestly pleased for you both I know you would never hurt her intentionally" now the heavy talk is over we went back to joking around and getting to know each other.

Shay's pov

While we are all messing around in the sea I look over to see both dann and hope in a deep conversation the other girls stand next to me while jordan jumps on my back "shay you best of told hope you and Dann was friends with benefits for over three years" I flung her off my back into the sea laughing "no worries jords hope knows everything about me same as Dann and so do Ash and Tobs but them two was an accident I told hope" "glad you are opening up to more people, you and hope would have cute kids but I hope you are wearing protection" gulping I look away in shame "she is taking the pill but I'm not wearing a rubber" she laughs "well at least that's something your pullout game is weak" after she says that I pick her up and lob her in the water in front of us we hear a scream behind us all turn at the same time to see our ladies being hit on by a drunk man we all run out to them as I pull the guy out of the way of them incase I have to floor this prick "leave them alone you have no business here" he rolls his eyes at me "I'm just inviting them to my bed you got a problem with that" he laughs and tries to step closer to Dann and hope so I pull them behind me "no I have no problem but you will if you dont leave I will put you on you ass in one punch" he puffs his chest trying to be hard so I laugh cock my fist back punching him in the nose all you could her was the crack of it he screams "BITCH" "well cant say I didnt warn you" the lifeguards turn up after explain what happened he was arrested I look at all the girls "everyone okay" they all nod "well now that's over who wants to get in the sea I'm going to rent a jet ski do you wanna come on with me hope" she nods and we leave over to them

After some fun on the ski's we all make our way to a restaurant round the corner from our hotel for dinner all in all it was a great day lots of laughs and even better my future wife and best friend seem to get along amazingly both ganging up on me if me and hope keep going on like this I'm gonna ask her to move in with me after the world cup that means we have five months of staying with each other and we have already had two months living together in hotels I'm sure if we can cope this I will ask her on our last game I'm just hoping it will be the world cup final just looking at her I can see how I want my life big house lots of kids being married hopefully both still playing for the same team
Now that sounds perfect to me I cant wait to see where this crazy life leads us.
