When Minho woke up he still had no message from Jisung. He was irritated to say the least. Did he do something wrong?
He decided to just let it be. He texted him two times yesterday evening, so now Jisung had to do something. Minho didn't know if that would happen but he hoped it would. Today it was his turn to open up the cafe, so he had to get up pretty early for the people that wanted to get a take away coffee before work. He himself would be that person.
Finally leaving the comfortable warmth of his bed he went to the bathroom. There he got ready and brushed his teeth. He would eat breakfast at the cafe. Then he got dressed for the day, quickly fed his cats and trying not to make too much noise while doing so. Both Felix and Seungmin were still asleep and he didn't want to wake them up. Minho walked out of the house, the freezing air hitting his face. It had gotten colder and colder and he was sure the temperatures would drop to Zero soon.
He put his headphones in and walked to the cafe. Looking around it was still dark, the streetlights lighting up the way. A few cars were already on the streets, but he was walking completely alone. There were a few leaves left on the ground, them getting dark brown and loosing their orange colours.
Now he felt a drop on his face.
And another one.
Another one.
He cursed at himself for not checking the weather before leaving and taking no umbrella with him. Minho prayed it wouldn't start raining hard before he was there. Just another 5 minutes.
But of course the weather wasn't in his favour today. It started pouring immediately. He pulled his hood over his head and started jogging. No running in the early morning.
Soon he arrived at the cafe, going in from the backdoor. His jacket was completely soaked but luckily the rest was still dry. His hair had survived the trip too.
Minho switched on the lights and started all the machines. He turned on the cash desk and logged himself into the program. Soon the baker arrived with the pastries for the day, which he then placed into the counter.
He checked his phone again, still no notification. Now he was getting frustrated, did Jisung just not care?
The first person already stood in front of the door, so he unlocked it and let the customer in, starting work.
A few hours later Minho finally had a short break, a lot of people came to enjoy a warm drink in this weather so he had almost no time to think about anything else. He almost jumped Jeongin out of relief when he finally came to help.

Sorry for not texting back yesterday
Do you work today darling?
The sudden nickname made Minho blush. The thought of being angry at Jisung left his mind immediately. How could he ever be mad at him?
Yeah I am why?
Not even a second later a message popped up. Jisung must feel bad for ignoring him all night.

Just asking, text you later!
That was all?
Minho shrugged it off, he didn't know Jisung well yet. Maybe texting wasn't his thing.
"Minho can you come back already, the waiting line is really long and i'm having problems with the damn coffee machine again." Jeongins head appeared in the door of the breakroom.
