They had a short stop at Minhos apartment, where the older put the flowers into a vase and informed Felix and Seungmin that he would be out tonight, all while Jisung was still waiting outside.
While Jisung was alone he started to think about something.
He couldn't grasp the fact that nothing had changed between them. Yes the atmosphere had shifted a bit, but more into the even sweeter space. Them opening up to each other and admitting their mistakes made their bond even stronger in some way.
Minho had to smile and look away every time he met his eyes. And he himself was blushing a lot. Not something Minho had seen often.
"Where are you taking me?" Minho stopped in front of Jisung when he came back from inside. He had put on a warm coat and a scarf now, already violently shaking from the cold.
"Another surprise." Jisung leaned forward, holding the older by his waist. Gently he put together their foreheads, rubbing his nose against Minhos.
No matter how much he wanted those pink lips on his own again, he wanted to put everything into this. Pouring his heart into making this as sweet as possible.
So Jisung took Minhos hand in his, intertwining their fingers. He shoved their connected hands into the pocket of his jacket as they would've fallen off from the cold otherwise.
"No Jisung tell me pleasee."
"Don't be impatient baby."
Minho looked down, feeling his heart flutter.
Finally they got into the center of the city, talking about random topics while walking.
"We are here Minho, look forward."
Minho, who had been caught staring at Jisung for the past at least 5 minutes, way to engulfed in the conversation they were having, looked into the direction Jisung was pointing to.
He saw a little market. Built just like a village. Stands made of wood with all sorts of decorations on it. Christmas lights. People casually talking to each other, having a good time while holding warm drinks in their hands. Eating sweet crap which would make them feel sick if they ate too much.
"The Christmas market??"
Jisung was worried at first that the older wouldn't like his idea. But the way stars seemed to light up in Minhos eyes and he was watching everything carefully with so much fascination made him relax. So he just squeezed Minhos hand and nodded shyly.
Minhos arms flew around his neck suddenly. The older pulling Jisung into a quick but thight hug.
God this boy
"Lets go look for food." Minho pulled their hands out of Jisungs pocket and lead the way into the crowd. From every now to then he pointed things out, showing everything that he found cute to Jisung.
"Jisung look a snow globe!"
"Jisung look a tiny Christmas tree!"
"Jisung look a gingerbread man!"
Can he even get cuter?
Jisungs eyes of course followed everything the older talked about. But then something caught his eye. Something that Minho hadn't seen yet.
"Darling wait a second." Jisung turned around and walked away. Leaving Minho alone in this mass of people who had thought of the same thing as Jisung did.
Visiting the Christmas market in the evening after work while it should snow pretty soon.
But this time Minho did not really care. He felt so at ease and content while watching his surroundings. And he knew the older would not leave.
A warm feeling washed over him when he was pulled into somebodys chest from behind. A hand covered his eyes and another slightly touched his waist.
"Hold out your hands for me."
Minho complied, eagerly holding his hands out. Grabbing nothing but air until something soft got placed into his hands. Slowly Jisung took his hand away, revealing the little gift he had gotten him.
It took his eyes a second to adjust to the lights again. But there was a plushie sitting in his hands. A cat with a christmas hat on. Minho cooed at the sight, petting it with a giggle.
Then he turned around to Jisung, who was currently adoring his lover getting excited over a plushie. Jisung looked at him expectingly.
Minho pulled Jisung close to him by the collar of his jacket and left a quick peck on Jisungs cheek. Which resulted to both of them giggling like teenage boys.
"It reminded me of you babe."
"Why?" Minho was now pulling them further, searching for something to eat as he felt his stomach growling.
"Im not telling you now. Lets get you something to eat. In the mood for something sweet?"
Minho pouted. But still he followed Jisungs gaze, which was glued to the stand which selled crêpes. Very thin pancakes with either chocolate or powdered sugar. He had to agree to Jisungs taste, they were exactly the thing he craved right now.
They got themselves some, and also some mulled wine from a lovely old lady who had wanted to give it to them for free. Jisung refused the gift and secretly slipped the lady some more money than she had asked for, seeing how all other people were getting drinks from other stands.
Minho felt like going crazy.
How is he so lovely?
At a small table in front of a different place they found their spot to eat. Minho carefully took a sip of his mulled wine, immediately scrunching his nose in disgust.
"Don't like it?" Jisung was laughing hard at the olders facial expression.
"This is disgusting. I am not drinking that." He shoved the cup away, looking mad.
"Give it to me love, i'll drink it."
"Do you like this? You're disgusting too."
"Mhh you think so? Then you wouldn't want to kiss me?" Jisung grinned, exactly knowing what the words made the older feel.
"I- oh Jisung look it's snowing!"
They quickly got distracted by small white flakes falling down from the sky and clinging on to their hair. With the snow falling down it started to get even colder, cold to the point Minho was shaking again. Jisung made his way over to him and wrapped an arm around him from behind. Then he gently laid his head down on Minhos shoulder.
"You want to come to mine? I don't want to leave you just yet and you are freezing." Jisung asked, tilting his head, waiting for an answer.
Minho was a bit startled of that question, but he didn't have to think about it twice. Still he was worried about Jisungs Friends.
"What about Changbin and Chan? I don't want to bother them."
Jisung chuckled. "Changbin is already at yours with Felix and Chan is probably with Hyunjin right now."
"So you planned this already?"
"Maybe I did."
