Note: This is after the events of the Danganronpa future arc. Makoto is the new principal of the new Hopes Peak Academy and Byakuya runs the Future Foundation. Kyosuke (Ex-Ultimate Student Council President) left.

"So... how's everyone doing?" I asked the huge group of people. After waking up from the Neo world program, the participants of the second killing game went on a little yacht vacation to make amends for what they did while they were under the influence of Junko. After a while, they all came to visit us. The mansion Byakuya bought for us is huge, but there isn't really enough couch space. Some of us had to sit at the dining table.
"Actually..." Princess Sonia said. "My kingdom accepted me back with open arms. They were ever so happy that I was free from that rotten brainwashing." Her expression turned sad. "Though I'm still having difficulty wrapping my head around the fact that I killed my parents and caused my kingdom so much despair..." A few tears fell from her eyes, which she quickly wiped away elegantly.
"Me too. I can't believe that I ate Mama..." Teruteru muttered. I remember that. I was there with him when he found out. Teruteru didn't cook or eat anything or days. It was horrible to watch. The rest are quiet. I notice Fuyuhiko holding onto Peko tightly, as if she's going to disappear any minute. I guess they're still pretty traumatized from the killing game even though it was fake. I can't blame them, I still get nightmares sometimes.
"Don't worry guys," Asahina spoke up. "We're here for you. All of us. Hey Byakuya! How's the Future Foundation going?"
Byakuya smirked. "Quite well, actually. We're still recruiting though." He pauses. "You guys helped a lot. I appreciate that." He then glared at the Ultimate Imposter, who was still impersonating Byakuya. Everyone else decided to call him "Twogami" after learning he wasn't actually Byakuya Togami. Yeah... Byakuya doesn't like him very much.
"Hey, guys..." Yasuhiro comes in from upstairs. Everyone waves.
"Is something wrong Hiro?" I asked. Yasuhiro looks a bit shaken... scared.
"I have a prediction... a prophecy," he said. "This one's 100% true."
Everyone paid attention. The atmosphere was even grimmer now. I shot Kyoko a worried look. She smiles gently back, grasping my hand.
"W-w-what's the p-prophecy?" Mikan stuttered. Yasuhiro took a deep breath, then spoke in a very monotone voice, like he was reading off a script.
"The dead will return but not as themselves. They will be reborn, reincarnated. Our descendants will take upon our roles, and our stories will be repeated. The battle between Hope and Despair will happen once again."
"D-despair?" Hajime said, fidgeting with his pants. Nagito hugged him.
"If despair comes, then you'll defeat it again. Right Makoto, you are the Ultimate Hope after all." He said. I didn't say anything.
"H-hey guys. How about we drop this for a while, huh?" Mahiru suggested. "We came here to celebrate the rise of hope after all."
"She's right," Akane said. "Now, where's the food!" Everyone collectively laughed at our hungry friend as she scampered off to the table.
"You guys eat. I'll go work on Chiaki." Hajime said. His red eye glowed as he left. He's probably going to use Izuru's abilities to help.
. . .
It's a lot happier here now. It's kind of feels like a high school party, except with young adults. Then Hajime stood up.
"Hey... guys?"
