Nagito and Hajime were late. Their taxi got caught in an accident. Apparently, someone had bombed it. They didn't know who though because the driver was too dead to tell them.

The married couple rushed to the school. After having shut himself in the house for so long, Nagito earned some strange looks from the passerby and guards as they zoomed through the gates.

They practically crashed through the doors of the principal's office, panting like they had just run a marathon (I think it's ok to assume they did).  Inside the office, Kyoko and Makoto shifted awkward glances between the two and each other, while Byakuya stood by himself in the corner, pinching his nose and questioning why he even acknowledged the existence of these plebians.

"SORRY WE'RE LATE!" Hajime shouted. Everyone flinched slightly at the volume of his voice.

"H-Hajime... Nagito..." Makoto said. "Orientation Day doesn't start in an hour."

"Oh..."

"Hehe... my bad Hajime" Nagito laughed, rubbing the back of his neck.

. . .

Orientation Day at Hopes Peak Academy. A day of amazement for all those attending. The re-opening of the new Hopes Peak Academy; the School of Hope. Lead over by the Ultimate Hope himself; Makoto Naegi.

At 10 am, that morning, many children and staff members stepped into the building of wonder that is Hopes Peak. For the children, this day marked their paths to success. For the adults, it wasn't that special, they were just happy that they could work here.

Many people fanboyed/fangirled over the Ultimates that guided them through. Many took pictures everywhere. Some introduced themselves, mingled around and made friends with others. Others tried to impress the others by displaying their talents to each other.

It was a busy day for most of the Original Ultimates. Most of them were showing everyone around, Teruteru was cooking in the kitchen, and the Ultimate Imposter was disguised as a guard, watching everyone closely, and Nagito was creeping around, trying to catch a glimpse of his daughter. Of all the Ultimates, Hajime, Byakuya and Makoto stayed in the office, staring over the students from the window.

The students were shown the classrooms, their dorms, and given their Ultimate uniform—that they were instructed to change into.

Hajime asked Makoto something. It took a lot of convincing, but eventually, Makoto agreed.

. . .

"Ok, class," Hajime said, trying his best to conceal his nervousness. "As you all know, my name is Hajime Hinata, and I will be your homeroom teacher."

"Wasn't Gundham supposed to be our homeroom teacher?" said a girl with blonde hair.

"He was, but there was a change of plans." Hajime replied. "Anyway, I want all of you to stand up one by one, starting with you." he said, pointing at a girl with long blue hair. "Introduce yourself; say your name and... one thing you like."

One by one, the students introduced themselves. A pretty interesting bunch. Unique personalities and cool Ultimates. There was even a robot! Nice! Maybe teaching won't be so bad after all.

"Hey, scary lady!" a short boy with dark purple hair yelled. "You have to introduce yourself too!"

Someone groaned with clear annoyance in their voice, mumbled something about missing someone. Hajime looked over, trying to peer over the huge hair of some idiot in purple.
