"UGH! This is all so hard!!!" Kaito complained as he frantically flipped through his messily-written notes.
"It's not hard, Kaito." Maki said. "You were just too busy arguing with Kokichi to focus in class."
"Aww! Come on Maki-roll! You'll help me right?"
Maki rolled her eyes and continued reading her book. An obvious no.
"You should have studied earlier Kaito," Kiibo told him. "There's too much material for anyone to cramp in at the last minute."
"Oh shut up Kiibo! You're a robot, you'll do fine!" Kaito whined, slumping over the table and groaning. Kiibo looked offended.
"How many times do I have to say this?" he mumbled. "I was programmed to think like a regular person. And, during the examinations, my access to the internet will be blocked so I can't cheat."
"Whatever, Kiiboy." Kokichi said. He turned to Kaito. "Guess the "Luminary of the Stars" is gonna fail his test. Even if you pass Kaito, you definitely won't be in the top 20 students. You're too much of an idiot for that."
Kaito glared at Kokichi, but, not wanting another punishment from Hajime, he bit his tongue—literally, the idiot actually bit his tongue.
"Don't call me an idiot!" he seethed through gritted teeth.
"Nyeh, we'll be lucky to even get in the top 30. The smarter students are all in the other classes. And everyone knows that stuck-up Ultimate Mathematician is probably going to get number 1." Himiko said, obvious disdain in her voice. Fun fact, the Ultimate Magician doesn't take kindly to being called a lazy baffoon.
"Only in Math though," Kaede said optimistically. "Come on, Himiko! Let's all have a study group, the least we can do is get decent scores."
"Nyeh... I wanna sleep..." Himiko murmured.
"I can get you a blanket if you want Himiko!" the Ultimate Lesbian suggested. Himiko shook her head.
"Am I the only one curious about the sixteenth student?" Rantaro asked, ignoring his textbooks and tapping on his phone. No one paid attention to him. It's not that they weren't curious, it's just that the teachers would never tell them anything, so the students eventually gave up.
Miu's phone dinged; a notification popped up. Miu threw away her book, smacking poor Ryoma in the face and dove for her phone.
"Woah, Miu! What's the rush?" Kirumi asked, helping Ryoma up. Miu squealed excitedly.
"EEEK!!! Fuyukami just updated her social media!"
That caught everyone's attention.
"The Goddess of Ice?" Korekiyo said. You could hear the shock in his usual deep voice. "I must admit, you've caught my attention."
"Koridoriko?!" Kaede shouted, rushing to see Miu's phone. "OMG I LOVE HER! I saw her shows once. She's so pretty!"
"Ooh ooh! What'd she say?" Tenko and Himiko asked excitedly. Hearing Himiko's excited voice was almost weird for the rest of the Ultimates.
"SHE'S GOING TO REVEAL HER FACE SOON!" Miu screamed.
"SHE IS?!" Kiibo and Maki shouted.
"Did he- Did she tell you that Maki?" Kiibo whispered. Maki shook her head quickly. Everyone didn't hear the two. Everyone mostly talked excitedly among themselves about what they thought she would look like.
"Would you look at her outfit, it's beautiful." Kirumi complimented, eyeing Miu's over-decorated phone. The females oohed and ahhed over the picture. Even the boys crowded around Miu's desk to get a good look.
