At practically the entrance of Iki Town, Hau and Kukui were already waiting for Tenebris and I. "We're here," Kukui said. "This right here is Iki Town! This town is where folks come to worship the Pokemon that watches over Melemele Island. Tapu Koko keeps up all safe and happy, see!

"But the Kahuna is nowhere to be found... I guess there's some trouble nearby that needs fixing, yeah?" Kukui said.

"Yeah, the Kahuna wandered off without a word," Hau told Kukui. "I'll be right back, I've gotta go show my mom Sableye!" Hau ran off as he finished his sentence without another word.

As Hau ran back to his house, Kukui turned back over to me. "I've got an idea for you, Elaine," he said. "You should go introduce yourself to Tapu Koko. It's just through the village and up the hill. You may even get to see the guardian deity yourself, if you're lucky. I'll stay around here to see when the Kahuna gets back."

"Okay," I said. Just as I started to walk over to where Kukui said the Ruins Tapu Koko resided at would be, Tenebris growled beside me. "Something wrong, girl?"

Tenebris pointed forward with her nose silently. Ahead of us, there was a girl in a white dress running over to where we would be going. She seemed to be trying to hide something in her bag.

"Let's go," I muttered, running after her quietly, Tenebris following not too far behind, as usual.

The two of us ran past all the houses and citizens of Iki Town, and up the wooden stairs that helped to guide one up the steep hill. Once again, I could see the girl in the white dress, her hat covering her face and platinum blonde hair. She said something to her bag, though I couldn't quite hear what. The bag almost looked as if it was...Moving? Was there a Pokemon in there?

I looked down at Tenebris, who was staring back at me. I put a finger to my mouth, hoping to let her know that she needs to be very quiet. Tenebris simply nodded in response.

Once I got up to the top of the steps, I could see the white-clad girl running forward, though it looked more like she was being dragged along by her bag. At some point, a Pokemon that looked like it was made of stardust and cosmos flew out of the bag, its 'arms' raised towards the sky. It flew towards the bridge, before flinching back as wild Pokemon charged at it. It cowered as the Pokemon mercilessly attacked it.

At this point, I couldn't help but approach the girl. "What's wrong?" I asked, causing the girl to swiftly turn around.

"Ah-..." She was violently shaking at the scene going on just behind her. "H-...Help...Save Nebby!" The girl turned back around to the miserable Pokemon, likely called Nebby. "Those Pokemon are attacking it! But-...I'm not a trainer, I...I can't..."

I nodded and ran towards the bridge with Tenebris. The second I stepped foot on the bridge, a Crustle attacked Tenebris and I. I swiftly took it out with Dragon Rage and continued over to Nebby.

I guarded Nebby with my body, being attacked several times in the process. Tenebris seemed to be trying to ward off the Pokemon as well, but it wasn't working, so she dashed away from the scene, next to the girl. After only a few seconds, my vision was filled with a blinding light, and the bridge beneath me seemed to vanish.

Wind raked my sides as I fell, still holding onto Nebby. Was this how I was going to die? Falling into rushing waters and jagged stones?

Just as I began to think about my potential demise, what looked like a golden bolt of lightning rushed down, forcing the wild Pokemon away. Before I fell into the water, the bolt caught me, setting me down onto the area just before the bridge. The feathered Pokemon that looked as if it had beaked shields on its arms examined me for a moment, before bolting off again. Could this be the Tapu Koko that was mentioned just a few minutes ago?
