I was shown around Hau'oli City for a while, but if I'm honest, it was a little nerve-wracking. I was never the best with big cities, I've only ever lived in Cerulean City for all my life, and occasionally went out to Pewter and Vermilion City with my parents. So trying to navigate through a city this big was a little overwhelming.

"Ugh, come on, come this way," Odium said, practically dragging me over to a gate. "Ya said ya wanted a whole team, right?"

I nodded.

"Well, 'ere ya go," she muttered, gesturing to the grass past the fence. "Can't say you'll like what ya find though."

But, I saw nothing hiding in the grass. "Huh?" I said, sweeping my hand through the grass. While trying to find a Pokemon, my hand smacked something hard and metallic. "Ow! What the-?!" I stopped my sentence when I realized it was a Pokemon. An unfamiliar one at that. It sort of looked like a robot dumbbell. "Aha! A Pokemon! Go, Tenebris, use Tackle!"

She rammed her head into the Pokemon, but fell back down with a grunt. She stood back up and dashed away, however, as the Pokemon charged at her. Tenebris took a deep breath, but got rammed into as the Pokemon tackled her. It seemed as if its attack hurt itself as much as it did her. Tenebris once again Tackled the Pokemon, and it once again ran into her, hurting them both in the process.

While the Pokemon was distracted by Tenebris preparing to charge at it again, I threw a Pokeball. One shake...Two shakes...Three...Gotcha!

"Now, let's see what you are..." I said, pulling out my Pokedex. "Beldum, the Iron Ball Pokemon. Instead of blood, magnetism flows through its body. When it's feeling bad, try giving it a magnet." I read the Pokedex entry to myself quietly, then hummed. "Hey, Odie," I said.

Odium turned to look at me as I said her name.

"Why are you acting like you know this city well?"

"Because I've been 'ere before," she growled. "Used to live 'ere. That's why I was practically outside yer house, it was just close by."

"Why'd you leave?" Silva asked, bowing his head at Odium.

"None o' yer business," she hissed. "Aren't ya gonna name that Beldum?" She turned back to me as she spoke.

"Right, I nearly forgot," I said. I sent Beldum out of its Pokeball. What an odd looking Pokemon. It turned to look at my other Pokemon. "Hey," I said, drawing its attention back to me. "I'm Elaine, this is Tenebris, Odium, Ruinare, and Silva." As I said each Pokemon's name, I gestured to the appropriate Pokemon. "And I think I'll call you... Ferrum."

"Understood," Ferrum said, doing something similar to a nod

"Understood," Ferrum said, doing something similar to a nod. "I have to warn you, I only know Take Down at the moment, and I will not learn anything else until I evolve."

I smiled. "That's okay," I said. "You know, you don't need to be so formal."

"I would rather be."
