You were getting dressed when Hitoshi walked out of the bathroom in the most extra way you had ever seen from him. His towel loosely draped around his waist, v-line in full view, as small water droplets fell from his hair to the floor.

"Do you know what you look like right now?"

"Handsome. Hot. A straight 10/10?"

"I was going to say you look like a frat boy from a wattpad story, but get into it I guess."

"Rude." He turned away from you playfully, continuing to get dressed.

"Always." You did the same. After getting fully ready you beckoned Hitoshi, who was minding his own business on your bed and therefore didn't want to get up. So you did what any rational person would do and jumped on top of him. Let's just say you finally got his attention enough to follow you down stairs to help with the set up.

Finally the party came along and you let off on the teasing towards Hitoshi, since you were technically celebrating his birthday too. It was actually quite quaint and very enjoyable. Not exactly a rager like one would expect for celebrating a bunch of 20 ish year olds birthdays.

It was more like a family gathering where the parents get a little more tipsy than they should have and join the kids in playing 'Wii Sports' or 'Just Dance'. But they stop themselves just before the fireball starts sounding like a good idea...you know?

Everyone was in their rooms or just passed out somewhere in the house by 2. Which left anyone awake to clean with you, but as you walked around you were only left with Hitoshi. Whom you bumped into while he left the bathroom.

"We seriously aren't the last ones up right? Because we can't leave all of this shit out, but I didn't want any of the dedicated birthday people to have to clean."

"I don't mind cleaning, especially since we are the most sober ones here. Even if the others are sleeping; if they weren't and helped us, they would end up breaking something."

"The sad part is that I can't even say you're wrong ." You sighed and let out a small chuckle. Slightly delirious as 2 started to get closer to 3 with every tick of the grandfather clock.

"So, I have an idea on how to make this clean up easier. We only worry about cold drinks on wood surfaces and food getting into the fridge. Everything else is another problem for tomorrow. Deal?" He held out his pinky for you to loop yours with. Which you did happily.

"Deal."

It really wasn't as much work as you expected it to be, even under Hitoshi's rules. You were done before the clock hit 3, but now you were insanely exhausted. Playing music while scrubbing a condensation ring off of the kitchen table obviously wasn't the best idea.

That is until a song all too familiar came on. Obviously placed in the cue by Hitoshi, because it was nowhere near the same genre as the other music you had been listening to. It wasn't your guys' song technically, because that rank was held by 'Put Your Head On My Shoulder'. But the next best thing, 'kiss the girl' from the little mermaid.

"You're kidding me. Did you go out of your way just to have this play after we finished our chores? That's some dedication." He laughed with you as he took your waist. Bringing you into a loose hug, grabbing one hand and twirling you a few times before continuing to bask in your embrace.

"We need to do this more often. I like dancing with you." You let out a sleepy yawn as you let your head be held up by his chest. He simply moved his hand that was wrapped around your waist to the base of your neck. Grasping your hair, pushing you further into his body, as if he couldn't get you close enough to him. He left a small kiss on the crown of your head.

"Maybe we should take dance classes. You know, to properly learn how to dance to songs like this as if we were at some type of ball. I know you've always wanted to go to one, it would be like the next best thing." He was excited but his voice was hushed as he noticed you lose consciousness slowly. Wanting to find a bed as soon as possible, you detached from his body. Grabbing his phone and pausing the music in the process of heading up stairs.

"I love the idea, and I'm sorry to burst our cute, couple goals bubble, but I really need to sleep. Can you get the lights?" By the time he comprehended what you had said you were already half way up the spiral staircase, with one foot through your bedroom door.

So he didn't fight or remark, he turned off the lights behind you and joined you in the bathroom to get ready for bed. After you stripped your somewhat uncomfortable party clothes, your pajamas felt like clouds on your skin. And when you fell into bed it felt like you were surrounded by the heavens.

Hitoshi met you in bed a few moments after you had gotten comfortable under the sheets. The feeling of him loosely draping his arm over your waist was the last thing you remember before falling into a heavy sleep.
