Mina

Before you knew it your vacation passed by you at the speed of light. Birthdays were celebrated and Hanta had healed, no longer needing his crutches and his stitches even dissolved. More late night Mario kart and just dance days happened, along with a half day yacht rental and successful day hike.

Everyone's skin thoroughly sunkissed and flushed as the last few days before your flight home creeped up on you. With no set vacation plans, relaxation became the one thing on everyone's mind before it was replaced with packing to go home.

Right now you were chilling in the hot tub on the back porch. Sipping homemade margaritas with the girls, as the guys and Sero played beer pong in the house. The sky was clear and the stars gleamed alongside a Cheshire smile moon.

"Mina I'm finally going to ask about something that I've tried to avoid it this whole trip. But seriously, what's going on between you and Tokoyami?" Everyone perked up from their slouched states. There had been a long silence before your question, just basking in the ambiance of crashing waves.

"I...I mean, we are interested in each other I guess. But we have just been hanging out kind of like friends ever since the Mamma Mia incident, as you called it. Honestly though, I really like it." You could tell she wanted to say more, but since you had an idea of what the next words to leave her mouth would be, you chimed in first.

"You like him don't you. In a way where you want to do the whole relationship thing?"

"Yeah. Yeah I really do." Everyone was thoroughly enticed in the conversation now.

"So why don't you tell him that? Or have you already?" Jirou piped up to give her two cents, but to be fair you thought the same thing. And most likely Momo was thinking it too.

"Well, no I guess we haven't really talked about it. We talk a lot with each other, just not about that yet." She was timid, which for Mina was like the sign of the end of the world.

"Hey, it's okay if you're not ready to. But from an outsider's perspective, if you did tell him, I think he would be pretty happy about it."

"I mean, maybe. But this is the first time since high school that I've liked someone like this. So, we'll see, I'll think about it."

"That's all you can do honey. Just let it marinate." Momo in her signature style sounded like the mom of the group, which brought that conversation to an end. Until it was Mina's turn to ask her questions.

"So (Y/N). I'm your best friend and I know we have the right to keep things for ourselves, but..." She stopped for a second and the look on her face when you turned towards her scared you. "You love Hitoshi, obviously. And I know you haven't been with him that long, but could you see yourself staying with him? Like marrying him one day or something?"

"Wow, honestly that's not what I thought you were going to ask. But...well yeah, I think I could. Actually a few weeks ago he asked if we should move into an apartment together. We haven't decided anything yet, but it is definitely under discussion. We're gonna talk about it with his parents when we get back I think."

"You're kidding, that's huge! It's gonna be sad if you guys leave us in the dorms alone, but I don't blame you. If I had a boyfriend as hot as Shin I'd probably want our own space so we didn't have to worry about thin dorm walls." Everyone just looked at her, you don't think she realized what she just said.

"Do you realize that you basically just called my boyfriend hot and good at sex?" You chuckled a little and so did the others. Mina's eyes went wide and she shook her head. A smile on her face as her jaw dropped, readying herself for a comeback.

"Oh don't even pull that, he's not even my type and I can easily say that he is a very attractive person. Also, you have told me yourself that he's good in bed, so don't blame me for assuming that was one of the reasons you wanted to move." Everyone went silent and you flushed, lowering your head in shame. It was true of course but it still hurt, you could never win in word play with Mina.

"Okay just saying, it's not fair that Mina gets all of the spicy details and we don't. I mean I may be gay, but that doesn't mean I don't wanna know." Laughter burst out after Jirou said that. And to your surprise Momo agreed.

"Okay, to be fair I never told Mina anything in detail, she just used her imagination apparently. But if you guys are going to get on my dick about it, yes he is good in bed and yes he is insanely handsome. We know this...though it was supposed to be private. So let's move on from my sex life."

"Seriously, how do we always end up talking about it every single time one of us speaks?" Momo chimed in and you legitimately thought about it.

"I have been asking that same question for months. And it always boils down to one thing, my lovely partner in crime; Mina Ashido." You deadpanned towards her. She wanted to laugh but held it back, you could tell. Letting out a sigh, she hid behind a smile that seemed to be asking for forgiveness and reminding you that you didn't hate her.

It worked in letting her live another day.
