Minho spent the rest of the day trying to understand his feelings for Chan. He became slightly distant from the priest, not wanting to impede on anything. There was no one in the human world that he could go to for advice besides Chan, and he wasn't about to expose himself. He understood that topics like these were very special to humans, so it must've been the same for Chan.
He wasn't sure how to understand these emotions, but wanted an explanation, nonetheless. He tried going to the library nearby to look for answers, but none of the information made any sense to him. He didn't have time to read any fictional stories that might've helped explain his feelings better since he wanted answers immediately. There was one way to get them that he knew would help.
After Chan had gone to sleep that night, he transported himself back to Heaven to get the answers he wanted. There was a higher-ranking celestial that he was rather close with only because he was in charge of Minho. That celestial was Felix, otherwise known as Mydaiel in Heaven.
Despite what the human world thinks Heaven is, it's not just a bunch of clouds that angels walk on. It was in another dimension, for starters, and it was actually similar to Earth, building and land-wise. Humans weren't the first to come up with complex structures.
He walked around the area, making his way to the quarters where the Dominions stayed. That's where Felix was since that was his ranking. Usually, angels weren't allowed in the Dominion's quarters since they were the lowest rank. But angels that had assignments were allowed to enter, thus, making Minho allowed in.
He walked through the door, seeing all the statues of the Seraphims and Archangels surrounding the building. The one he hated most of all was Michael's statue. It was placed at the front of the building with a divine light gleaming over it. Every time he saw it, he felt the urge to roll his eyes, not wanting to look at the kiss-ass.
There was a large table in the center of the room where the Dominions would discuss their instructions with each other before ordering around the angels. And there on the far left of the table sat Felix all alone. He typically sat alone while looking over his commands. He was one of the more "trusted" Dominions, shall we say. He didn't need to go over his instructions with anyone, already knowing what was best for the angels. He had been working as a Dominion since he was created. He wasn't one of the first, but he was one of the oldest living Dominions since he didn't let his rank get to his head. Many of the Dominions before him got too cocky in ordering angels around, which ended up with their demise. Felix, clearly, was not one of them.
Minho walked to where Felix was sitting, taking his own seat next to him. Minho had stayed in his human form, as did many of the angels who were assigned to a human. Felix, rather, was not. Though he did have one, it was very rarely used since Dominions barely ever make their presence known to mankind.
"Hello there, Mydaiel," Minho greeted, trying to grab the Dominion's attention.
The celestial in question raised one of its heads toward Minho. "Ah, Ambriel. It's nice to see you," Felix started. He only then realized Minho was in his human form, which made him feel awkward talking to the angel. He quickly switched into his own human form, now feeling more comfortable with the angel. "I thought I had you on an assignment?"
"You did, but I have a question..." Minho trailed off, not sure how to reveal the situation he was in.
"Did something go wrong with the priest?" Felix asked, now concerned that his instructions might have failed for the first time since his creation, which would not have been good for his reputation and would definitely knock him down a few blocks. He couldn't let that happen.
Minho shook his head quickly to diminish the fear in Felix. "No, nothing went wrong. At least, I don't think it did. He didn't mess anything up, don't worry. He's still on his path," Minho explained, trying to put the Dominion at ease. "It's just... you know that this is my first time being "human", so there are some things that I'm confused about, should I say."
