Now, Chan had to start getting used to living with Minho. He didn't know how this was going to go, especially with Cherry, but it was going to have to happen.

"Are you good with dogs?" Chan asked as he pulled into the driveway, parking the car and turning it off.

Minho unbuckled himself and got out of the car before answering Chan. He walked behind Chan as he unlocked the door, walking inside. "I think so. I've never met a dog before."

"Meet Cherry," Chan announced, Cherry giving Chan a few licks before noticing the stranger's presence. With caution, she slowly walked over to him, sniffing at his legs before her stub of a tail began wagging excitedly, her butt going with it.

She started jumping from her excitement, Chan trying to calm her down, grabbing hold of her collar and holding her down. "No jumping," Chan scolded.

Minho looked at the dog before looking at Chan, slightly concerned and confused. "Is that a good thing?" He asked, not sure how to take the reaction.

"Yeah," Chan laughed. "It's a very good thing. She really likes you for some reason."

Minho nodded. "Probably because I'm an angel." Chan laughed at the statement and looked up at Minho when he didn't hear him laughing, seeing only seriousness. "I'm not joking. It's probably because I'm an angel. That's why she likes me so much. Animals are drawn to good positive energies, and I am the embodiment of positive energy."

"Right..." Chan slowly nodded, just agreeing with him so that an argument wouldn't break out again from Minho taking the criticism too seriously. Chan stood up once Cherry had calmed down, now sitting still, waiting for some kind of command. "Go lay down."

Cherry ran off to her bed, laying down immediately. It wasn't a punishment for her, and she understood that. It was just so that Chan could walk around the house without him tripping over her. She had a tendency to walk right in front of him and stop in the middle of his path, which caused many spilled foods and drinks.

"She's obedient," Minho commented, his face still deadpan as he looked at the dog laying with her head on her paws.

"She's trained well."

"So, what do we do now?" Minho asked, turning his head to look at Chan, who was headed for the kitchen.

He grabbed a cup from a cabinet, filling it up with water. "I have to take her on a walk and feed her. Today is also her bath day." Upon hearing the 'B' word, Cherry whined. "Yes, you're getting a bath today. You stink," Chan spoke sternly. He looked back at Minho. "And then after that, I have to make a few phone calls and answer some emails."

"I can walk and bathe her for you," Minho said, offering to help. Sure, maybe he'd never met a dog before, but how hard could walking and bathing a dog really be?

Turns out, pretty hard. She didn't listen to Minho's commands, which caused Minho to grow frustrated. "I thought you said dogs were drawn to positive energies," Chan recalled, watching Minho struggle to get Cherry to turn down a street.

"You've trained her to go against me," Minho grunted, doing a sharp tug on the leash.

"Hey! You don't have to do that!" Chan yelled, not liking the rough treatment Minho was giving his dog. He quickly took the leash from Minho, Cherry immediately following after him. "You just need to be patient and gentle with her. Don't tug on the leash. And how would I have trained her against you when I didn't even know you existed until today?"

"I don't know, but you did."

The three continued the walk, some people stopping to say hi to Cherry along with their dogs. She was happy to see them, having friends all over the neighborhood.
